i wish i couldv met mr. kunkle, by everyone's accounts he was a great guy who genuinely did whatever he could for his son to continue wrestling, which is a really rare thing..RIP and get well soon mike

BXW is thinking about making the finest tournament the Paul Kunkle Memorial tournament, just so everyone knows, its fine if you want to dedicate JWA III to him as well though. Also, I messaged his mom about an address for sending cards and such, should have one soon.

I am so glad I found this site...I have been scrambling to get any info I can on Mike's condition, and Paul's funeral arrangements. I was Paul's girlfriend in High School, and was completely devistated to hear about the accident. I was actually looking his name up on Facebook Sunday night, and came acrossed the hyper-link to the McCall news article. I still can't believe it...I have read all of the posts on here, and you have all confirmed what I knew to be true...Paul was ALWAYS a sweet, wonderful, gentle soul, and he never changed. I always loved him and hoped his life was good. I am glad he supported Mike's dreams, which is something I know he always wanted for his son...Happiness.
For those who didn't really know him, he was a beloved person, worthy of knowing...I wish I had one more chance to hug him and remind him of how much I always loved him and cared. Now, I won't get that chance.

Hug your folks today! They may not be here tomorrow.

Again, if I can get any info from you guys, it would be greatly appreciated.

Peace,
Connie

Nice of you to say, but I hope this doesn't stir shit up.

Alrighty guys, I have an address for Mike's mom's house. You can send your get well cards and things of that nature to her, and she will take them to mike.

The address is: 625 North Saint Lucas Street, Allentown PA 18104 Apartment 10.

Dont go too crazy with this idea guys, just send your cards and letters and things of that nature, out of respect for Mike and the Kunkle family.

Im glad the address is close to me. I plan on doing something special for him and I'd rather save shipping and just go there.

I wish there was a way we could all like sign a big card and send it to him or something. Like everyone here from GBYWN.

honestly, we can do that. Someone can make a topic on GBYWN that says "Mike Damage get well card" or something of that nature, everyone writes like a little paragraph or a few sentences, puts who its from and thats it. Then whoever feels like doing it copy and pastes it onto some type of an internet card and prints it.

IMO, if you want, I'll copy and paste everything and even make the card and just send it to you if everyone just says a little something that I can just copy and paste into. This would be cool.

Right now he's still on the breathing machine. They tried taking him off of it, but as soon as they did that his blood pressure shot up, so they had to put him back on it for now. He's heavily sedated and can barely communicate with words. His mom also said he has a case of pneumonia, but I'm not sure how bad it is. They did operate on his leg a couple of days ago, but despite all of that he's still stable. It's a slow process and no one knows when he'll be able to come out of the ICU.

Keep him in your thoughts. There hasn't been a day, or even an hour, that's gone by that I haven't thought about him.
