| My God. My heart just sank reading this. I only met Mike and his dad once, but they both left a lasting impact on me. Like Rage said, I remember Paul's reaction to Mike getting busted open in his last man standing match at JWA II. He looked at him, saw it wasn't too bad, and said something along the lines of "He'll be alright," or "He's had worse." Never freaked out, was just chill about the whole thing. The way he accepted and embraced his son's hobby was amazing. I wish my parents embraced my love for yarding as much as Paul did. There's a reason one of the best chant's at JWA II was "Mike Damage's Dad!" It was because the man was that awesome.
R.I.P. Paul Kunkle. And I wish Mike the speediest and healthiest of recoveries. Hope to still see you at JWA III man. |

| I hung with him twice but I immediately felt a connection with the man I called "Mike Damages Dad". He respected me right off the bat and that was all it took for me to respect this man, who supported his sons love and obsession with this crazy thing we call Wrestling. I am glad I got to meet him and talk to him and I am glad that I entertained him and could possibly be considered a friend of his and this news has left me in a really confused, sad, hopeless mood.. Mike Damage, when you read this. Please dont hesitate to call me if you ever need someone ya want to talk to because I am here for you dude. Nothing can ever prepare a son for the loss of his father or vice versa and just know that you and your family will forever and always be in my prayers. Stay strong, and know that Paul is probably watching Owen and Eddie Guerrero tear shit up right now...
R.I.P. Great Man, Great Father, Great Friend, Great Person... He will be missed. |

| Just want to personally thank everyone for the kind words. I still can't believe all of this has happened, but I'll make sure to tell mike that everyone is here for him, and that we're all one big family. I agree with tony, and Im going to try and get an address or something so that we can send cards, and things of that nature. |

| Some more good news and bad. The good news is that Mike was able to open his eyes today and respond a little bit, which is awesome. Though, they tried to take him off the machine but they had to put him back on it. He's still running a fever and his condition hasn't really changed much since yesterday. |

| Mike, I'm so sorry for your loss. Paul Kunkle was an awesome guy and an awesome father. I met him for the second time this past December 09 at the EWA show that was canceled due to bad weather. He had just made the trip to Jersey and had to turn around because of the snow. I remember laughing and telling him "you must really love your son". He told me that he would do whatever it was to make Mike happy. I only talked with him for a few minutes but I could tell he loved Mike and would do anything for his son. We wish you a speedy recovery Mike. We know you're tough kid and you can get through this.
Long live Mike Damage's Dad. You will be missed.

| Not yet, dude. DMac will post it when he gets it.
They increased Mike's sedation. They're still having problems with his blood pressure and stuff, and tomorrow he's going back into surgery so they can work on his crushed femur. |

| BXW is thinking about making the finest tournament the Paul Kunkle Memorial tournament, just so everyone knows, its fine if you want to dedicate JWA III to him as well though. Also, I messaged his mom about an address for sending cards and such, should have one soon. |

I was Paul's girlfriend in High School, and was completely devistated to hear about the accident. I was actually looking his name up on Facebook Sunday night, and came acrossed the hyper-link to the McCall news article. I still can't believe it...I have read all of the posts on here, and you have all confirmed what I knew to be true...Paul was ALWAYS a sweet, wonderful, gentle soul, and he never changed. I always loved him and hoped his life was good. I am glad he supported Mike's dreams, which is something I know he always wanted for his son...Happiness. For those who didn't really know him, he was a beloved person, worthy of knowing...I wish I had one more chance to hug him and remind him of how much I always loved him and cared. Now, I won't get that chance.
Hug your folks today! They may not be here tomorrow.
Again, if I can get any info from you guys, it would be greatly appreciated.
Peace, Connie |

| Alrighty guys, I have an address for Mike's mom's house. You can send your get well cards and things of that nature to her, and she will take them to mike.
The address is: 625 North Saint Lucas Street, Allentown PA 18104 Apartment 10.
Dont go too crazy with this idea guys, just send your cards and letters and things of that nature, out of respect for Mike and the Kunkle family.
