| Finallly after a LOT of editing and a lot of constant stupid issues with crummy windows movie maker, I've completed the music video from this years live show, War at the Well 3. This is likely the best video we've released, so check it out and please give me some feedback I hope you guys like it. Edit (so that you guys have a general idea and will actually consider watching it): 1st match: Open Invitation. This was a free for all involving anyone from the crowd who wished to participate. The winner of the match had the privilege of tapping the second keg (as our event was also a kegger). It was completely for fun. 2nd match: Fitted Hat on a Pole: This was another fun match. It was a guy everyone loves fighting a guy everyone finds annoying, it was a novelty match because they always argue over fitted hats, it was meant to be somewhat of a joke. 3rd match: Battle of the Asian Emperors. This was two Asian guys fighting in what was meant to be the most stereotypical match possible. It was their first match for us and they put on a hell of a show, certainly worth the watch. 4th match: Main event, Tag team championship. This basically explains itself. It was 2 guys who had never fought live before, vs myself and the fellow who I fought last year at the same event. It was the first time I've ever been in a 2 on 2 match, and I think it went fairly well. I took a pummeling, but I think the end result is worth watching. And I put a fair amount of work into the editing as well. The two new comers did an excellent job, both with the wrestling, and with handling the crowd.

| I made it 40 seconds in... you look like a bunch of kids jumping on each other in a backyard... get a surface to wrestle on, get gear, learn to wrestle, and don't post a music video that's over 6 minutes.... then I'll watch and give legit feedback...
Not meaning to be harsh, but it's hard to take this seriously... |

That was the nature of the first match, it was an open invitation. |

| This can't be a serious topic. 4 matches you described as "completely for fun", "a joke", "two Asian guys fighting", and "two guys who never fought live before". What type of feedback are you really expecting it? This show looks like it was a turd and you can polish a turd all you want but it's still shit.

Maybe some kind of feedback from someone who watched the whole thing? I mean there were 60+ people there watching it live who didn't think it was a turd, so I figure we must have done something right. Then again those 60+ people actually sat through the matches that weren't complete jokes.
My apologies for incorporating a little bit of fun into my backyard wrestling show. I mean I put a lot of effort into this show, both with booking it, organizing it, and drawing in a crowd of over 60 people, all while preparing for a match of my own. I wanted the crowd to have fun, and I wanted more people to get involved. It kind of sucks that as a result, nobody even bothered to watch my fight because the first two fights (which were meant to be fun, and meant to be for the crowd to enjoy) were not top notch performances. I mean I don't think I'd go to Raw and expect Santino Morella to tear down the roof, the same way I wouldn't expect a "fitted hat on a pole" match to be completely serious.
I am by no means a pro, but I try and give constructive feedback where I can. I guess I just assumed that there were some people in this community who would bother to do the same. |

| But if you knew it wasn't gonna be good then why book it in the first place? You put a lot of effort into booking WHAT exactly? Letting a bunch of drunk guys play fight and throw each other in the pool? Putting a hat on a pole? I could get much farther than that. If half the show sucks, the show sucked. Just cause you had fans doesn't mean shit. You also had a keg, that probably brought in some of these "60 excited fans" and I'm sure they enjoyed it because they were good and inebriated. Maybe it was fun live, and a good experience but was a "you had to be there" thing. In my opinion, just from watching a video, it was shit...pure shit. |

That was the purpose of the first two fights, just to be fun and stupid, to get the crowd settled into the idea. I booked it because it was fun... People wanted to get involved, so I gave them the opportunity to, and they had a great time. All I ask is that you give the remainder of the show a chance, because the following two matches were actually worked on. |

| Then if they were just for the live crowd, why include them in the MV, especially since you pretty much admitted they sucked. I'm sorry, but your logic is weird and flawed. I'm not going to give detailed feedback because there is so much wrong it would be impossible. I mean, when one of the pieces of feedback I have to give is "Don't let fans wrestle", why should I even keep going? |

| I skipped to the main event.
I watched.
I'm not going to say it was good, because it wasn't. But I will say it was handled much better than a bunch of drunks dicking around and throwing each other in a pool.
Feedback. Big things I noticed. Work the left in wrestling. Make your strikes look a little more meaner, like your actually trying to inflict pain. If you build a base or something, matches would be more watchable.
Next time: post just the serious stuff. |

I included them in the video because they were part of the show, and if people involved didn't see it I'd hear a pile of "why didn't you put that in the video?" from the people involved. I'm not expecting detailed feedback on the joke matches, or any feedback on them. I'd just like a little feedback on the matches that I put effort into.

Harsh, but at least it's something. I will try my best to work out the punches a little bit more, I am not entirely sure how to make proper contact without actually inflicting pain though. As for the base, there's not nearly enough room in my backyard, nor would my parents approve of it, but I would like to do it. Thanks for at least watching |

| Watching this video reminded me of those boring documentaries that teachers used to make us watch in school. The big difference is where in school a boring video meant no work and possibly a day that by a little bit faster. This vid is on that same level only i willingly watched it and will never get those 10 plus minutes back. |

| A joke match can be funny if you're in attendance, but all we saw in the MV was a bunch of nonsense we couldn't understand without being there. If you want people to get into your videos, you can't open it with a match that can't be taken seriously. It could have helped just to put the third match at the beginning as that wasn't quite as bad as the first two.
As for the wrestling, I agree with Centofante. Nothing else to it. |
