After going to a training session with UBW on Sunday. I have thought alot about how I can change my style so I could wrestle for them. I thought about move set and things already, but the thing that really got me thinking was gimmick. The gimmick I have tried to use for a while is a gladiator. However this has failed do to lack of appropriate gear, and me not wanting to look like the USC mascot. So the idea I have been toying with is a religious gimmick. It would be christian, as I am one, but it would stem from my own belief. This gimmmick is fun and varied as show by Chistopher Daniels and others. So I was wondering if you guys think its a great idea, I will not be a Daniels knock-off.

Name:Octavian ?(need a last name)
Nickname: Working on it (thinking the Martyr)
Gimmick: Does any regular moves (clotheslines, legdrop..etc..) in sets of three for the Trinity.
Gear: White gear for those hot summer months but would go with being a martyr. Carry a cross or an icon with the appropriate saint, like Nicolas or George.

No. Horrible, horrible, horrible idea for a face. Even overused for a heel. And Octavian is just another Roman name, be creative if you're going to change.

well first off using that gimmick as a face is hard using as a heel would be better but it is used a lot and instead of a roman name put 2 biblical names together

Anyways, I like your idea, Maximus, but as Alex said, it would work ten-million times better as a heel. Honestly, gimmicks like those really go over well for me. It's probably a good one to try out, too, since how you act it out can be pretty straightforward, and thus a good beginning in developing your gimmick-creating abilities.
