Welcome to the leading entity in backyard wrestling. For those of you new to the community, we have a few simple regulations that help prevent conflict and unite our commonality of our undying love for wrestling that we do of our own. First, you will want to know exactly what Global Backyard Wrestling News is, if by chance, you had not read the "About GBYWN" link on our front page.

What is Global Backyard Wrestling News

GBYWN is a backyard wrestling news and media-sharing website developed in 2006 by Cam. It was purposed to gather in the backyard wrestling community and provide a place where yarders of everywhere in the world could converse and interact. 5 years later after many trials and tribulations, GBYWN has a stronghold in the fading existence of a religious hobby that ceases to attain much coverage by media these days. But nonetheless, we have integrated hundreds of federations overall, all varying in style, distinction, and quality, and we continue to hold our position as the standard barrier to all others on the web today.

Rules & Guidelines

1. Get noticed? How? Have an organized federation with neat presentation. Interact and build up some respect on here, hold wrestling practice sessions at home and strive to become, at the very least, tolerable to watch as a wrestler. If more is desired, then become good at what you love by all means, but don't expect to get views if you aren't trying and somewhat succeeding. Watch videos on moves, chain wrestling and psychology here: Ric Drasin Wrestling School and How To Wrestle. We at GBYWN, desire some quality.

2. Leave feedback on the media of other wrestlers in the "GBYWN Media" section. What you liked about the video and how it could have been better. It goes hand in hand that when you take the time to invest interest in the video production of others, they just might return the favor. Those who give, shall receive.

3. Your best bet is to employ the use of a constructed base or a pro wrestling ring to perform your wrestling events on and even, though not recommended, perform on ground although park tar has worked very well as a surface for some federations. Trampolines are truly a thing of the past that only a very selected few get away with and find people interested in on here.

4. Avoid needless drama. Check your arrogance and attitude at the main page and remember why we all are so fond of this activity, as when it all comes full circle, this is backyard wrestling. So go on, converse WITHOUT SPAMMING, respect others, wrestle, have fun and repeat the cycle.
