the ropes for homemade rings only work if your HWF or HVWA and your father is a professional welder or you KNOW a professional welder or somthing of the such.

plus its easy to maintain

and you have more space with a base...you can run off it and all that great stuff

I actually saw one little kid in a video showing how he made his ring ropes. He took rope, some kind of flexible, black pipe, strung the rope through the pipe, and then hooked them up with springs to posts. They actually seemed to work well. Only problem was his posts were these weird hunks of metal, and he left them uncovered.

But yeah, it would probably be easier just to leave out the ropes. As for padding, I've been told carpet material works well. Fortunately for me, I got connections -- my mommy designs her own rugs. I've had to haul tons of fucking carpet samples over the past ten years or so. If I hadn't learned of how I could use them for a base, I probably would have gone down to her boyfriend's hanger where we now keep them, and set them all alight.

well, our homemade ropes worked before we bought the ring.

and yes, they use carpet padding for real rings, so it is a good padding
