For the past few months the GWA has been dormant due to many things such as camera issues, issues with schedules, and lack of interest on the part of the wrestlers. The GWA WILL begin its third season at the beginning of June, just as we did last year.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Scotty Funk and DOZER will not be able to attend ITW Reunion of Revolution III.

The GWA champion Chase Sanders has been declared unable to compete due to another ankle injury and is officially as of today, March 26th, 2009, stripped of his championship.
The new champion will be decided in the first show of the new season GWA Rise Again. The entire show will consist of a tournament to crown the new GWA champion. The tournament seeds will be drawn in an episode of GWA Today next week.

In addition to stripping Chase Sanders of the GWA Championship, management has agreed on the suspension of the GWA River Valley Championship until further notice. Rhino will no longer be recognized as the champion and his title reign is officially ended on today, March 26th, 2009. The title will be brought back in the distant future.

The date for GWA Rise Again will be set in the coming days.
