What are some moments you really remember from your time in backyard wrestling?
In ABW, we haven't wrestled anyone outside of our fed yet and our shows are just for YouTube, not live audiences (not considering the joggers, little kids, and old people who pass us in the park, usually laughing), so we haven't had any spectacular moments yet. But on Friday we recorded matches for a memorial show for Tricky's iguana who recently passed away, Tim. Well for one the first and second matches were really fun to do. The first was cool because Tricky was wrestling under his alternate gimmick (Larry) and pretty much just fucked around, but besides that the match sucked since he was wrestling our newest guy, Super Newman. The second, equally sucky match I was reffing and Tricky was at ringside yelling shit that also just made the match more fun to do. Eventually I ejected him from ringside, which didn't work out since we were at the park.
But in the main event, between Tricky Styx and I (very good match, by the way), in the end Tricky was about to do his highest Swanton yet (not THAT high by BYW standards but ABW's biggest one) from a pillar in the park, and while he was trying to force himself to do it the people watching (some of our friends had shown up) were cheering him on and I just thought it was kind of cool. And when he finally DID the Swanton, I found it funny as fuck that HE got hurt because we did it on a slope so his legs kind of smacked against the ground hard, while it didn't hurt me at all since I braced myself perfectly. Painful for him, funny to me.

Huge events/non particular moments
Zayne and I's summer together. So epic, nothing will match that again. Birth of my real BYW career essentially.
BYE3000. First BYW supershow. What a huge way to dive into the BYW world, by attending one of the biggest shows that has ever taken place. So awesome, the road trip there, the show itself and the IRW week long hang out, best week.
XWA BYSS. The show that finally "put me over" in terms of wrestling and personaly with the byw community.
ACW Survival of the Sickest 3. The first ever real oficial ACW show. Such great times with the FCW people and Zayne.
XWA Ressurection V/week with B Cubed. Too much fun, wouldnt change a second of that week.
BYH Episode V. ACW's first supershow, so awesome. Plus hanging out with Mdogg 20, great times. hanging with Lee Andrews back when he was the man aka, before he met a certain storm.
BYX2. Huge show, so much awesomeness. No tension, great times.
Particular moments that stand out.
7 Deadly Sinz 1. as soon as we released it we knew we had something special and we did. It basically launched zayne and I's byw "careers"
7 Deadly Sinz finals. Zayne and I debuted at BYE3000 in the opening match. then 2 1/2 years later we headline Wrestlefezt 6 with the conclussion to what we started. Fucking epic, the atmosphere is something that cant ever be replicated, having the pressure of the most anticapted byw match was incredible and i cant belive i survived it.
The Porn. The infamous legit amatuer porn that was filmed in my house during a show. Awkwardness at its best. No matter if it was cool or just plain weird. it was something to never forget.
JM buying me a pizza, what a sweetheart.
Freak Boy breaking his face. being the sole vistor when he was in the hospital(AMC was there but i forced him to go)
wrestling anarchy andy. for 3 years i wnated to wrestle him, since 2004. ever since i saw him do a lot of awesome flips. i went outside every day on a futon mattress and practiced the flips i saw over and over all day everyday for months in hopes that one day i'd be good enough to wrestle him. 3 years later in the EXACT spot i practiced flips, just in a ring, not a mattress there i was in a match with him. fucking epic.
hmm i have more but landed on my head a lot i'll think of more.

Memorable moments for me was my match with Jesus earlier this month when I did an 8 foot high elbow drop on him off the top railing of my deck. It was also my favorite match I've ever done (even though I didn't win haha)
Another one would be jumping off the wagon for the first time in May 2007. Back then I thought it was the most fun thing ever.
and the last one, which was a semi-sad one, is when my fed was no longer allowed to wrestle in my yard so we went to my friend's house which will probably have less limitations for us. Next month we will have our first full show there which I'm pretty excited for

1) Adrenaline Rush 3 when Danny Madness cashed in the Money in the Bank after myself vs. Ace Reed to win his first NECW Championship and end Ace's year-long reign. I was so happy for him because he had worked so hard since NECW formed and even before to become a main champion. Seeing his work pay off and the memory of him celebrating never stops bringing a smile to my face.
2) JWA Week 1. Just hanging out with everyone, having a blast, and it being such a great day wrestling wise.
3) Adrenaline Rush 2 Day 1 Main Event. I faced off against my brother for the BCW Championship in front of my now good friends of NECW when they were KAW. It was my first match in front of those boys and it went over so well. I don't think I'll ever forget everyone marking out when Bonnet hit me with a moonsault while I was on a ladder-table.
4) KAW's St. Patrick's Day Massacre Main Event. My first ever match with PJ and we did a hell of a good job with it. I was honored that he came out of his leave to face me for one match. I always love working with PJ.
5) Adrenaline Rush 3 Day 2 Main Event vs. Ace Reed. I was so glad and honored to main NECW's big show with Ace. Our feud is my favorite to this day and we put everything we had into that match. Definitely one of my favorite matches of all time.
6) KAW's Northeast Showcase. The event was fun and there were a ton of good matches that day. It was really because everyone from NECW was there and we were in the new location. I remember feeling that it was the start of something special.
7) NES 3 Day 2 Main Event. I love Perfection. We got to main event Day 2 and he helped me have one of my best matches to date. Won't soon forget it.
Those are the top seven off the top of my head. I'm not counting BLADE or NECW Pro Access since they were technically pro shows. Technically.

In no particular order.
1.) JWA I of course. Thinking back on the pshycologic aspect of it, the wrestling really wasnt that good other than PJ/Maximum, which still was just done extremely cleanly. But I WILL say that this was one of the funnest days of my life. Shawn dieing 252057202 times, PJ vs Maximum in the rain, Matt Demorest sprouting out, Joey Adams winning the rumble, Ace Reed kicking me in the face, Danny Madness' HUGE swantan. Way to many moments to even mention in that day.
2.) The Debut of JWA as a fed, JWA Week 1: As murph said, every match had good in it. The hangings were extremely awesome. The whole roster going into my house and watching the show on my TV as where eating pizza, never forget that.
3.) My match with Drake: This is more so memorable for myself, as I've wanted a match with scott since we met a year and a half ago on GBYWN. Meeting him was awesome, then wrestling him was better. That was considerred to be a dream match for me.
4.) None of you will even know of this, but the early days of my fed BWE. Its funny because in the earlier days, we were alot better. It started out with me vs. Overkill, in a match I dont think Ill ever forget. The finish saw him practically fly from one side of the shed to the outside of the other, it was amazing. If I can find that match, I will post it. It was at Hardcore Heaven I beleive? Fun shit though, def a memory for me.
As for that, its really it. I have ALOT more to do in my BYW carear but unfortunoutly my character just wont allow me to. I wanted to break out in me vs Drake so badly, but its alright, I'll be going face soon and having dream matches. I've had alot of matches that im not too proud of thatd I'd like to have rematches of, and alot of guys Ive never wrestled as of yet.
Ryan RAGE vs. Joey Adams II Ryan RAGE vs. Matt Demorest II Ryan RAGE vs. Jamie Anderson Ryan RAGE vs. PJ Matthews II Ryan RAGE vs. Ace Reed Ryan RAGE vs. Murph II Ryan RAGE vs. Tek Ryan RAGE vs. TKO II Ryan RAGE vs. Danny Madness Ryan RAGE vs. Ian Finnegan Ryan RAGE vs. Double D Ryan RAGE vs. Dylan Creese
the list goes on and on.

1) Wrestling The Prodigy when we first built the ring, I felt that I was afraid "mentally" to do a lot of stuff and take moves, but it was Derby City Showdown 2006 and I consider it one of my favorite matches, but the psychology of the wrestling was bad, but I felt that it was the match that made me "break out" as a wrestler. Every time me and Prodigy face one another, he always brings out the best in me, which that is always what he expects from whom ever he faces. Anytime I face Prodigy is a moment for me, my favorite match we had was at CWA DooM 2007, me and him got back from Ring of Honor show in Dayton and just had the time of our lives at that show and studied so much. Sorry for the cheesy promo go to 1:44 for the match highlight
2) No Remorse 3. It was my first supershow that I have ever gone to and it was probably the greatest weekend of my life in terms of wrestling. The atmosphere was great. Meeting new people and finally meeting people, especially Robby Roberts. and that I have talked to for many years online and this weekend somewhat got me known as a person in the backyard world, I wouldn't say for my wrestling but for my personality. Also it was "3 years in the making" with Me vs. PJ Matthews. Prodigy has told me that when I faced PJ, that it was a totally different 'Joe Randa' that wrestled PJ and that I was "TRYING TO STEAL THE SHOW WITH HIM". That's something that I keep dear to heart. Also "Known as Orion then now Drake Cannon" but Scott and the RLSW crew was so welcoming with open arms and Scott's family really treated us too well and everybody else making us feel right at home. Something that I nor the CWA crew that came along for this trip will never forget.
3) My storyline with CJ leading into our Mania 7 show from December 2006 to March 2007. Probably my favorite period in my backyard career were I felt like I was on top of the world in regards of my fed and how we were entertaining the internet fans with it as well. The storyline couldn't have gotten any better and was topped off with a great 2 out of 3 falls match, but now when I look back at it, see that the wrestling psyche wasn't all there but still it was one of my favorite matches because of the storyline behind it all.
4) Me being the top 'Heel' in CWA going into the Day of Reckoning 3 Main Event for the CWA Title with Prodigy and Kevin Porter. The Build was epic in my opinion and the match was great. It was all fun and the I felt that my byw career was taking to a higher level.
5) Meeting and wrestling Zayne for the first time. I got knocked out a little less than half way into the match and didn't remember anything after that until I came back to reality in my car with my friend Wade telling me to move my car. Zayne has got to be the coolest most laid back person that I've met. We are planing to have more shows with the PWS crew during the summer since they are only an hour away from here. Oh and the match we had was spotty and I did stuff that I would not probably do again HA.
Thats probably about it or not... I am sure that there is more stuff that I could come up with as memories but it is all that I could ster up

ETTW Day of the Destined 2008: This is where we reaaaally started having fun. Marking out for every little thing, which led to crazier spots, which led to awesome videos. So on and so forth.
JWA 1: I remember meeting everyone there, and nobody fucking knew who I was. "Who do you wrestle for?" "Who is Matt Demerest?" Then I had a crazy match with Crippler, and that's where everything began for me. The match itself was shitty. But it's still what I consider my breakout match.
YouTW vs. ETTW: This was the first time anybody had ever come to ETTW, and I wanted to make sure the show was awesome. For like a month before that, Danny had been doing this Forsaken gimmick and he chose me to be his first opponent. I was nervous as shit, but the match came out okay. But I an definitely say that match made me the wrestler I am today.
Battle for the Belt: Ring. Awesome time hanging out and getting to know eachother. What else is there to ask for?
Twist goes for Spiral Tap. Misses. Me - "What's next?" Twist - "I don't know but that fucking hurt." Yeah, good match. And I have yet to top it. When I do so, I will post in this topic again.
As far as dream matches go... vs. Danny 2 vs. Twist 2 vs. Shawn Matthews vs. Rotty Rob vs. Drew Blayre vs. Murph vs. PJ 2 vs. Rage 2 vs. Randy Flame vs. Dylan 1,000,000 vs. Poison 3(?) (in a ring, please) vs. Jamie 8? Or something? (ring, please) vs. Everyone that wrestles in the state of Florida vs. Ian Finnegan

I've had a hell of a lot of moments that I can't put into words, and I won't go on and on about them and I'll just list a few of my favorites.
1. Starting KAW. We had so much fun, we all sucked, but it was a great group of guys going to a park, wrestling on the ground, and we always had fun, which I miss and loved.
2. Feud with Ace. My feud with Ace is really what started getting me recognized here on GBYWN, even though I still sucked, and because of the feud I became great friends with Ace and still am today. It was awesome and I'm proud that me and him booked that whole feud ourselves.
3. Jimmy Starbucks. Starbucks is a dude I will never forget as because of him, I am much better. I grew so much thanks to that one training session, and he is always a joy to be around. He is a big reason why I am who and what I am today.
4. KAW Northeast Showcase and NECW Union. I put these two together because NEShowcase was KAW's last show, an end of an error, and like Murph said we all just had a blast and EVERYONE was there. Alright wrestling show, but remembered for the awesomeness of the day. Union I say, because I remember everyone being there and I had my "Are You Alive" starting match with John Crosby, which is one of my favorites to this day.
5. Adrenaline Rush 2. This is what basically started NECW. So many great friendships started thanks to the BCW guys coming, and it was such a fun 3 day event that I won't soon forget. All the matches were fun, and a lot of them were good. Main Eventing and retiring at the end was awesome and us 4 (Me, Ace, John, Nick) won't soon forget wrestling in the rain and how epic it truly was.
6. NECW. NECW has been a blast for me and I've really come into my own and found myself as a wrestler. I just love everything about NECW and can't wait to start up again.
7. Adrenaline Rush 3. I had one of my favorite matches with J-Fatal, and was in MiTB. But what really makes this memorable, was Danny Madness winning the title from Ace Reed. Following the epic Main Event, Danny cashed in and I still get chills just thinking about it.
7A. NES 1. It saved my life, awesome day.
7B. No Remorse 3/Any of my trips to CWA. Amazing Days, fun hanginz, awesome wrestling. Loved especially going to iHop with the boys.
7C. JWA 1 and JWA Week 1. JWA 1 was phenominal and I loved facing Maximum. I thought we had a great match and it was an awesome day and was a start of a new era. Week 1 had amazing wrestling and was really fun hanginz.
8. My several dream matches: v. Joe Randa (Awesome really got me noticed and it was such an awesome day) v. Rage (We need to do it again) v. Jamie Anderson (love him, loved this match) v. Matt Demorest (we have great chemistry and WILL hook-up again) v. AJ Badd (Gave me one of my favorite matches and I love being able to say that I beat him) v. Orion (<3) v. Erik Scott (Ditto) v. Shawn Matthews (self-explanatory)
I also can't wait for all my upcoming dream matches such as:
v. Double D v. Ryan Storm v. Tek v. Demorest again v. Rage again v. Jamie again v. Murph (whenever, I love facing Murph) v. Ace (ditto) v. Whoever the eff else wants to wrestle me.
So many more memories still to be made, but I can go on and on about everything.
I may have more memorable things I should have mentioned, but that's it for now. I may add to this later.
ShawnMatthews Because R-Truth so black, he look black like a monkey with his black ass.

He's still a damn fine wrestler Shawn, regardless of if ya can use his name or not, plus most people know who he is anyway.
Shawn, me and you should have a rematch so I can finally beat you, since I never technically lost our first match...I would beat you too. Because plain and simple...I'm better than you.
BTW, I think everyone should post their fav moments, I had a blast reading everyone's so far.

Here are some that come to mind immediately:
1. Our first live show under the GUW banner, GUW Redemption which was held in February. Pro Wrestlers Buck Wild, Steve Madison and Santino Marella watching me and New Age David Daniels in the main event for the GUW Championship.
2. Wrestling Chris Rise in a 2 out of 3 Fall match, which lasted forty minutes, at RXW Shock Therapy 2008 for the RXW North American Champisonship.
3. The 1st Episode of GUW Friday Night Inferno. I wrestled "New Age" David Daniels and "The Warrior" Alex Evans in a triple threat thirty minute Iron Man to determine the 1st ever GUW Heavyweight Champion.
4. My first ever live event, RXW Redemption 2007. I wrestled Chris Rise and Tony Calzone in my first ever ladder match. Later that night I was in the final two of a gaunlet that would determine the 1st recognized RXW Champion.
5. Wrestling Benjamin Chambers in a strap match for the RXW Championship at RXW And Justice For All 2009 in January. This was also my first event as "The Majesty".
6. 2006, wrestling Corey James in Tampa Championship Wrestling in a locker room brawl. At the time Corey was barely 5 feet and barely 100 lbs. I repeatedly bashed his head in the lockers. But the icing on the cake was powerbombing him in a garbage can and rolling the trash can into a wall. He felt out the trash can and landed head first on the ground.
Since people are listing dream matches I'll list mine too:
1. William Black 2. Matt Knicks 3. Shawn Matthews 4. Pj Matthews 5. Matt Demorest

I'm gonna state the Memories I had recently.
My "return" match with UYW's Twist. I called it passing the torch, giving him my X-Division title and it was a pretty good match, but i had an awesome time.
My Forsaken gimmick was a lot of fun. Messing with people is one of the best forms of entertainment. In the end the forsaken gimmick once debuted it was a flop, but oh well still had an awesome match with Matt Demorest, I enjoyed my first visit to ETTW.
Battle for the Belt at UYW. I had a blast hanging out with everyone. I had my second and last match as Forsaken. it was eh. but tons of fun.
Double D makes his way to ETTW again to face TKO which turned into a tag match. Good times, so good Times.
Then ETTW randomized. Tons of fun. Me and my little bro Twist, against Matty D and Jamie Anderson. Cool Match!
Then my last trip to UYW to face twist for the second time in a match I will never forget. Loved that match.
Then recently My JWA debute against Jamie Anderson. Very good match.
Dream Matches?
DD vs. PJ matthews (30th =]) DD vs. Demorest DD vs. Dylan Creese. DD vs. Twist aka Kevin Bennett (Pro Match) DD vs. TKO II DD vs. Chris Cryptic (my dream match since forever)
and I know theres alot more, so if i left ya out. Sorry!

Well fuh. I might as well hop on this wagon.
1. The beginning of KCW in a park, with Tyron. It had to be one of the best feelings of my life. We were fucking horrible, but back then, it was so much fun no one cared. I even remember my first two bumps. I didn't know how to fall, and I took a cutter off of some monkey bars, I died. Then the double powerbomb off, so much pain.
2. Going to my first SuperShow was pretty beast. It was the EXWF Reunion Show, I never knew I was loved/liked by so many people. It was an amazing feeling. I had three fucking matches with DC Doom. Haha. Took the infamous Orange Crush and died on the spot. The love iminenating around the area was just awesome not to mention all the respect I had gained from the people.
3. First time I was on a base. I had no idea how this would turn out. But it turned out to be, I think, a turning point. Before it, I never wanted to wrestle on anything but a trampoline. Unless it was a ring. But the feeling I got from it was just one to remember.
4. Everytime I wrestle Tyron. I will always remember every time we lock up. we go all out with each other, everytime just to see how far we can go. Like our ironman match. I know neither of us thought we could make the whole hour and have it be a decent match at that. Together, we can do anything. (No Homo.)
5. Our Homecoming show we just did a couple weeks ago. It's been six years. And we're still wrestling with each other. Yeah, we've lost a few. But we have gained so much more from it. There is nothing better than the friendship and respect I've gained from so many of these people, and everyone else. It has got to be the greatest.
Dream Matches you say?
1. PJ Matthews. (Because I'm Better Than You.) ;] 2. William Black. 3. Matt Demorest. 4. Joe Randa. 5. Drake Cannon or AJ Badd.
