Kirk fuckin' Morrison. Had no clue where the fool wound up after the Raiders got rid of him. Of course it's Jacksonville...
Agreed. Never saw anything in him from the get. He played in a college spread system where QBs (including the guy who succeeded) throw for nearly 5,000 yards on a consistent basis. He barely made it past 3,000 yards. If you know how football works, that's a really telling number right there. Blaine Garbage. |
Kirk Morrison is a monster. Him and Rolando McClain's bad ass ass playing together would be insane, Imo.

| You guys are forgetting that Tebow has God on his side. Nothing else matters. Also, I think people forget that fact that he was a rookie this year. I'm not saying he's gonna be a superstar, though I do like him a lot. I'm just saying that he WAS a rookie. It was his first year in the NFL and he helped lead his team to the playoffs. You have to think that he can only improve from here as he gets more experience. |

Gah, technically yes. But it was his first year as a starter, well half-year. That's what I was getting at. I mean, it's not like he played much at all last season. I forget that football isn't like other sports where there's like a threshold you need to cross to not be considered a rookie anymore haha. |

The Threshold is called a rookie season. It passed last year for Tebow. |

Yeah, I got that now. I'm just so used to baseball and hockey where you're still a rookie until you've played a certain amount of games. |

| That's because those sports suck, so you need more than a year to be considered "not a rookie". In the NFL you gotta grow up quick and learn the game like a man. You don't take 2-3 years to "play a certain amount of games" to earn your spot as a member of the team. |

The NFL also has twice as many roster spots as either of those sports and no minor leagues. And you don't necessarily HAVE to "grow up quick and learn the game like a man". I mean, look at Aaron Rodgers. He spent years on the bench and is better than the Alex Smiths, Joe Flaccos, Mark Sanchezs and Sam Bradfords of the world who didn't. But that's another argument for another time. |

| I do absolutely agree with the Aaron Rodgers statement. He learned the RIGHT way. I feel like they could do the same thing with Luck in Indy if they really wanted to. I don't feel that Rookies should be put under that much pressure to succeed or fail right away and if you fail your career is over. Look at Clausen. He was VERY promising, was thrown into a scheme that doomed him to fail, and now he won't be taken seriously as a starting QB for at least 5 years, if ever. Look what happened to Vince Young. So much potential, no one to nurture it, and he fell flat and is a wash up. Sad stories, that could have been averted, if they had a good QB to learn under. EVERY rookie could use a good QB to learn under, I don't care whether it's Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Andrew Luck, RG3, whoever the fuck, give them a good to great QB to learn under - Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Matt Hasselbeck, Carson Palmer, etc. - and they will come out better for it. If Indy trades Peyton, it'll be the worst thing they have ever done. Whoever he goes to automatically becomes a Playoff contention team. |

Houston. Then he gets to haunt the Colts twice a year, possibly get another ring (much better chance there than almost anywhere else, I'd say) and be responsible once again for keeping the Colts out of the playoffs.

Houston doesn't need him. If Peyton's gone, he's going to a team that needs him way more than a team with a clear cut starting QB already. I want to say that the Jets would try and get him, but I just don't feel comfortable saying that right now |

| I think the two big teams that will go after him are the Jets and Dolphins. I think the Miami weather may be more to his taste, with age being a factor and all. I feel like if he goes to a Florida team (Jacksonville could be in the hunt as well) He adds at least another year to his playing. If he goes to somewhere with colder weather (i.e. NY) he probably plays 2 maybe 3 more years. 4-5 if he goes somewhere with a good climate. |

If he wants to play for the Texans, I'm pretty certain they won't hesitate to sign him and move Matt Schaub elsewhere in a snap.
It's really going to be up to him, you all now he's going to have at leas 5 or 6 teams trying their hardest to get him. And I'm sure he'll want to play for the teams that are already play off contenders and pretty much all the playoff teams this year have their long term QBs, minus San Fran and Houston. |
