They are ALOT better. MW3 was the pits and MW2's online was terribly supported.
GRANTED MW2 had some of the best classes and maps it was deeply over shadowed by the horrible online security.
MW2 was the best IW campaign but Black Ops is the only COD campaign with an actual story and actual characters with great plot twists as well as the Treyarch games are infinitely more historically accurate than the IW games which have become nothing more than "Future Weapons- The Game"
Also, as a zombie fan and Elena Siegman fan....yeah....the map packs are ALWAYS better for Treyarch. |

| IW innovates the new engines, builds the better systems, actually modifies and invents new products. Treyarch takes the work that IW does, and gets an extra year to use the SAME engine/graphics/configurations/etc - to produce a game that may run MUCH better, but usually has less gameplay value. Of course their games have better servers and less crashes - they've had over a year to fix bugs on a final product. IW actually does the construction of the house - Treyarch does the interior decorating, and throws on a paint job. Also they add Zombies - which I find to be the most boring version of Zombies in any Zombie related game. I've given it plenty of chances, and I'm just not a fan. I prefer L4D or Dead Island, or pretty much ANY other game with Zombies - Hell even Halo Reach's "Infection" mode is much more entertaining imo. No matter what though, everyone has their own and the right to their own opinion. I prefer MW and IW over Treyarch and CoD style, but I'm more of a casual shooter player anyway. |

| Exactly, IW goes after casual players not hardcore players. Its so obvious in line to any release party, everyone looks like DM with shaved heads, import cars and a baseball cap. Plus IW hasnt reinvented its engine since COD4 its been the same game. Treyarch still tells the best story with what its given and you can not blame Treyarch for it not doing modern war since that was copyrighted by IW.
Honestly I dont know why the past 2 games maps have sucked, i blame Raven Studios for that since they have done the past 2 COD games. but Black Ops was the best COD campaign bar none. |
