| I don't know who organizes this but I'm willing to take control of it and do it BYWL style. For those of you who don't know what that means, we all nominate matches/people/categories. 5 per category. Nominations end at 11:59 pm December 31st. Voting begins January 1st when the final ballots are posted. Set a cut-off date for voting. Usually January 15th at midnight if I remember correctly. People send their votes to me or whoever via PM and results are posted a day or so after voting is closed. I ahve ideas for awards that are pretty simple.
Wrestler of the year, rookie of the year, and breakout star of the year can book themselves on any supershow 1 time against whoever they please.
Match of the year gets to do the same if they would like, but in a multiman setting involving both (or all) people in the match.
Gear of the year gets to pick someone to wear gear of their choosing at a supershow. (For instance, you could make Don wrestle in a wedding dress.)
As the categories are decided, we can create more goofy awards and whatnot.
So, categories I believe should be on this ballot for SURE:
Wrestler of the Year. Match of the Year. Breakout Performer of the Year. Rookie of the Year. (Must be someone who attended their first supershow in the year 2011) Gear of the Year. Music of the Year. Music Video of the Year. Tag Team of the Year. Faction of the Year. Supershow of the Year. Fed of the Year.
Any other suggestions?
I would also like to nominate:
Wrestler of the Year: Ryan Storm Matt Demorest MX5 Eric Douglas Marcus Centofante
Match of the Year: Ryan Storm vs. Matt Demorest (BYX) Anarchy Andy vs. Marcus Centofante (BYG 6) Ryan Storm vs. Jonah Block vs. J 2Step (BYG 6)
Tag Team of the Year: New Wrecking Crew Whatever (2Step/Cento) The Stepdads Purple Haze
Faction of the Year: The Awakening Rad Hazard's weird clan Martel's Cartel
Supershow of the Year: NYE BYG6 Backyard HotnessXmas
Discuss. Nominate. Masterbate. Interrogate. |

| Also, I don't know who broke out this year, but here are some standouts to me...they may have been standouts in 2010, too. So don't judge me.
Ryan Brodie Danny Divine Marky Lectric Alex Cross (Warren, you've been around for a long time but this year was your fucking year.
Also, I don't know where to put Tony. But Tony looks fuckin' GOOD. And not in the gay way. Well kinda the gay way. |

| I like this system better because it's voting by us and not whoever the fuck the "judges" are.
Also, I'd back this because the idea of Don in a wedding dress is golden.

| I like this because I enjoy the idea of the actual rewards. I mean, Cam's system is in place so I wouldn't say do away with it. Maybe somehow combine the two? |

| Cam's system is kinda gay. It's like our actual government voting system. A set of "judges" acts like the electorial college, and votes however they want anyway, no matter how we feel, when we are the guys at the shows, not just watching MV's or recaps of each of the shows. There's a completely different feel/atmosphere when it comes to being at a show and watching footage or clips from a show. I've been to CT shows and seen the footage. I've been to PA shows and seen footage. I've been to NJ shows and seen the footage. I've been to NY shows and seen footage. I've been to Florida shows and seen the footage. I've even been to Canada once, and seen the footage. Point is, it's completely different and can influence your votes. Hell I've seen AR Fox matches, and they're pretty terrible and full of botches 7/10 times. Yet if I watch an AR Fox clip package or MV - the guy is fucking fantastic doing all this innovative and new shit and taking all these chances, etc.
As the people that actually go to shows, actually particpate in the events, and the people you want to actually CARE about the awards, they should be nominated, voted on, and decided by us, the people who were there.
Simply put - Cam's system makes no one care about the awards, everyone puts them down, says they suck. Tommy Flambeau's system makes people excited, gets them pumped, and legitimately has them interested in watching/voting/nominating.
Cam's system = Impact/TNA Tommy Flambeau's system = WWE
Cam's system = FAIL! Tommy Flambeau's system = Win! |

That's not really how an electoral college works. For simplicity sake I will just say that every state is given a set number of "points." More populous states are given more points than less populous ones. When you win the majority vote in each state you are given all of the points from that state. Nobody is swinging your vote. _____________________ |

The electorial college is the one that decides the "points". They tend to base it off of the majority of voter's votes, but they can go against it at any time. The electorial college is voted in by voter's supposedly with their best interests at heart, but there have been times when the electorial college has voted against the majority of the state. They are the one's whose decisions turn states red or blue during the actual election. |

It is literally illegal for electoral college votes to go against the popular vote of that state in every state but Maine and Nebraska. _____________________ |
