| Ryder took a while to grow on me, but he is a solid worker, with an over the top (but not too much) throwback style of gimmick, which is what the business needs more of to bring entertainment back to WWE. Santino is also great, but not nearly as solid a worker. |

| I guess I disagree. I think the business only needs a few of those types of workers, and it needs more workers like Orton, Punk, and Bryan who are just themselves and just wrestlers. |

| How is Orton not himself? His character has evolved parellel to him as a person. The whole IED/Voices thing was obviously not himself, but he's passed that point of his gimmick anyways. Now he's just Randy Orton, the wrestler and an awesome one at that. Zack is whack and if you disagree it's because you smoke crack. |

Thank you Trey. Orton is more of a worker than Cena will ever be, and he's certainly a better worker than about 90% of the WWE roster. |

Cena's the best worker in the company. I give Orton as much respect as he deserves, but to say that he's more of a worker than Cena will ever be is obscene. |

LMFAO
No... Just, no. Cena is nowhere even close to being the best worker in the comapny. He's decent at best. He moves very robotically, constantly takes awkward bumps, forgets to sell important things half the time(Like taking DDTs on concrete or Piledrivers on ring steps), and he doesn't even apply his own Submission Finisher properly. Cena isn't even close to being the best worker in the company and the fact you just said makes me question if you even know what a worker is.
Currently, these are the best workers in the company, in no particular order - Triple H, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, and Christian. Those guys are masters of the craft, and not only make everything believable, but are all extremely over in there rolls, and always put on a top notch performance. Even guys like Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Daniel Bryan etc are better workers than Cena.
Cena is the Hulk Hogan of this generation. The guy that got over for selling merchandise, not because of being a good in-ring worker. Except the difference is, Hogan was 100% over as a face. Cena can't even walk into his home town arena without being swallowed with boos. And what kind of a little bitch get's Rock Bottomed and then says he understands why Rock did it the next night? Cena comes off looking a pussy more and more these passed 2 years.
It's time for the heel turn. Miami is going to be 100% behind The Rock, come April. I think once Cena turns heel, you will see him pull off the best work in his career. |

I take worker to mean more than in ring. Cena doesn't have bad matches. I can't name the last straight up flop he was in, just plain can't do it. Pure wrestling skill? Yes, he's obviously outshined. But at the same time, him being the Hulk Hogan of this generation means a lot. He puts in time for the company, busts his ass in and outside of wrestling, and he knows how to tell a story in the ring. People like to hate on him because they're tired of him but he knows what he's doing. |

Last flop he was in? See Survivor Series Main Event. Rock was the only thing that made that match entertaining. Prior to that, he's been working Punk and Del Rio most of the year who are two excellent workers. His match with Miz at Mania was pretty terrible. When it comes to outside of the ring, Miz and Cena both bust there ass to do anything for the company, but I see that as being more of them making up for what they lack in the ring which is a whole lot on both sides. I disagree with Cena telling a good story in the ring. His matches are all the same. He takes an ass beating, then makes his comeback by no-selling everything and hitting the 5 moves of doom for the win. It's the same old shit week in and week out.
Some of the top guys of the passed like HBK had there five moves of doom as well, but they never blatantly no-sold the heat they took all match, and they at least switched things up frequently. If you've seen one John Cena match, you've pretty much seen them all. |

| I didn't see the Survivor Series main event so I cannot comment. As far as Miz/Cena goes, it was fine. It shouldn't have been the main and nothing was totally offensive. On top of that, didn't one of them get hurt? I feel like they rushed.
Also, I don't agree with the seen one Cena match, seen them all because, like you said, EVERYONE has their five moves of doom/comeback spots/favorite bumps. I can pick up on trends for every wrestler in the world. Cena's comeback is always the same, but for the role he plays that's a smart thing to have. The fans, namely the kids that Vince wants Cena to go make cheer, will always react when Cena hits two shoulderblocks, ducks a line, and hits that modified blue thunder deal. He does his job and he does it damn well. I will say that Cena has gotten worse. He was better in like 07/08. However, I would say that the following men have had arguably their best matches or series of matches against Cena:
- Edge - Orton - Batista - Umaga - Great Khali - Punk - Del Rio - Wade Barrett
The list probably goes on. And on that list, there are some great workers (I think Punk is the best in ring competitor in the company), but I would argue that some of their best, if not their best matches in the WWE were against John Cena. He's proven he can go an hour. He's proven he can work a WWE style PPV or RAW main event. He works with the gimmicks and he does fine with the singles. You really can't hate on the man. |
