well homeless people make pretty damn good money just they usually spend it all on drugs keeping them homeless and all so I dont see why this wouldnt work to some degree |

Actually Half-Myth. It is possible to make good money begging for change. The son of my dad's friend would go to NYC every morning and hang out in full suit and tie as if he had a day job. Then from around Lunchtime til 8pm (@8hrs), and ask for a dollar from every person he saw, stating that he lost his wallet and just wanted to get home. He would only ask for a dollar from each person. That way it was acceptable if they saw him ask multiple people, and some people would give more. Either way, on a weekly basis he would "earn" anywhere between $600-1000 in this fashion. I mean he would wear a 400+ dollar suit, so that definitely helped.

| Pretty good for a beggar, but its still ~minimum wage if he's at it 8 hours a day. Honestly easier just to get a job that doesn't require a $400+ dollar suit =P |

| 600 a week is better than minimum wage. Minimum wage, full time (40 hrs) at 7.25 = 290 dollars a week. Also this guy only worked week days. He kept his weekends free. So even with a 400 dollar suit, if he is only down 90 dollars after the first week, I'd say a month of this is EXTREMELY profitable. With the first 2 weeks the monthly train pass and suit are paid off, then he's got 2.5 weeks of straight profit. Damn, I wish I could pull this off. |

| My bad, was thinking 2 weeks. So that is pretty good, but he's still not your typical homeless person. The average guy living under the freeway doesn't exactly have an ideal situation. |
