China owns $1.4 trillion worth of our debt. So like... a tenth of one year's GDP. If they called in their entire debt this very second it wouldn't be a world ending crisis. More like a high profile midsummer political event with a month and a half long dip in the stock market. China's economy would disappear without American consumer spending, and the only thing stopping us from raising tariffs on Chinese imports is the debt we owe them. It's just a matter of who blinks first. Personally I would be much less surprised to see a democratic Chinese revolution led by 11 year old sweat shop workers than to see Americans stop buying cheap plastic shit.

And the $425 billion package is halfway payed for in the initial legislation. Net cost is $240 billion, which would be made up for in retail/manufacturing stimulation in both the permanent jobs created through the tax cuts portion (total of $253 billion) and the temporary jobs created in the spending portion ($194 billion). The spending portion is roughly $90 billion for infrastructure (which saves costs on infrastructure in the future, lowering the 10-year debt outlook), $50 billion for a continuation of 99-week extended unemployment benefits, and most of the rest to keep public sector jobs.

Except Battlefield's multiplayer is slow and clunky. CODs is smooth and fast. I like ideas Battlefield has and its campaigns are good but it just doesnt play well.
