If anyone actually buys into that, than I feel sorry for them. It's obvious that this is just temporary fix and it's not going to cause any long term benefits. All this will do is get the unemployment rate down just in time for the election next year. Then he'll talk about how he got America "back to work" as his big campaign speal. Problem is, it won't last that long and then we'll be back in the same rut we're in, except with even more debt than we already have. Good job, Obama. And it's funny because one of the opening lines to the speach was "Let's end this political circus" but this whole plan he made was nothing more than him politicing for himself.

Oh he's easily the best speaker weve had in office in many many years and possibly one of the all time bests but he hasnt done that much. I voted for him, yeah. I think a major problem is the senate and the whole government. President isn't as high of a ranking as one would think. Either way, no politician will ever make good on promises and the country will never change in 4-8 years unless there was a revolution.

He's an excellent speaker. Possibly more so than Clinton.

And thats all it takes in politics anymore. Our government will never change without a revolution because the government is too happy with its power and a revolution will never happen because our people are too happy with what they feed us.

So the government is like current day WWE. If you can talk on a microphone well, the people like you.

Pretty much. I dont think it will happen anytime soon but the only way I can see a serious instant change in the American way of life is if there was a chinese invasion due to the trillions and what not we owe them.

I think there will be a Revolution when the majority of America wakes up and realizes that "WE THE PEOPLE" aren't the ones running the show any more.

Pretty much, if we slowly lose everything we will be fine with it but if someone comes here and takes it then we will realize. Honestly, the chinese have every right o invade, I dont want them to, but shit, if some country owed us the amount we owe them I'm sure we would do something about it.

I dont like death or war or any of that but i do like the idea of a fresh start.

If China invades though you have an instant World War because Russia hates China, thus causing them to side with us. If Russia and America worked together, we'd be untouchable.

Yeah we would be a big threat but the russians have vendetta's against us so it would be very crazy to say the least. Also other countries would want to join in just because.


I wouldnt want us to get destroyed but America could use a little kick in the ego and maybe reform its government to some degree. We need a wake up call for sure.

I think our govenment was set up fine and it held up fine until about the 50's. Then the idea of socialism came in and all these things have now been changed to where our government has grown to be massive. They are here to protect and serve us. Now they are the ones calling the shots.

All this talk is just getting me more pumped for Modern Wafare 3.

Same here and yeah i loved the 50's a few changes here and there like womens rights and all that kind of stuff is fine but I liked 50's culture a lot and that was steamed off a world war....we need WW3
