well, to set the table, for a while now, my memory has been bad...and getting worse..you may or may not have heard me say the same thing/ask the same thing over and over again. So, I finally was able to find a doctor to go to; a sports medicine place. I had an appointment today, and they gave me about 6 visual memory tests. example; a list of words, one word on the screen at a time, every 3 seconds, would change to the next, then at the end, it would say like "Carrot" then 'this was a word' I hit yes or no. yada yada yada. Turns out, in one department, people with concussions normally get a 50%...I got 20%. Then, the next section; I got 1% then 16% and 17% all INCREDIBLY bad numbers. Then they did an eye test (like looking at his finger without moving my head) and noticed my eyes actually "lag" they don't make a fluid motion from right to left, and left to right..they go to the middle, stop a bit, then continue. Then, the doctor told me; I'm in a bad area..if I were to take one more BAD blow to the head, I'd have permanent brain damage....which is scary. BUT i CAN make a recovery (which is likely)..I'm going to have to go to physical therapy and stuff. What does this mean?? I'm pretty sure you can connect the dots...but if you can't; I have to hang it up. I'm not medically cleared to wrestle; indefinitely. I'd like to think i could make a full recovery and return..but I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch. You will still see me at shows. Just not in the ring/on the base.

I wanted to wait until a show to announce this. But i didn't want anybody to think this was a work. So, I'm telling you, the Global Backyard Wrestling Nation I, Steven Maxwell Schneider, otherwise known as "focalin" will not be wrestling anymore. I'm sorry to everyone who booked me on future shows. I hope you all forgive me.

You have me and everyone else on the GBYWN and beyond giving you are 100% support and we hope you a swift recovery. I just want my friend to be okay rather than see him wrestle again.

I never got the chance to meet you in real life dude, but I'm glad you're walking away if things are this bad. You gave so many people in this community so many good matches to enjoy, you really don't owe anyone anything. Just focus yourself on making a recovery so you can enjoy everything else in life. Hopefully I'll get to see you at a show in the future, even if it's just for hangings.

Man,you are one of my fav. wrestlers to watch when I go to a supershow.It blew my mind when I read this so take however long of a break needed .I just hate seeing someone wrestle than something goes wrong that turns out fatal.
