| Episode 39-Season Five
Filmed-20th December 2011
Duration-45 Minutes
Omar Abdulla: Welcome to The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW produced by Footprints Filmworks...This is the s e c o n d last episode of SEASON FIVE of The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW and SEASON SIX will be filmed in The United States...Each SEASON is divided into eight episodes and each episode is shot at a different location whilst each SEASON is filmed in a unique country...Today, we will be talking and meeting with leaders in South Africa who can tell of 'stories,' of rags to riches to help motivate the more than 50 million South African's...In studio today, we have Pick 'n Pay founder Mr. Raymond Ackerman and Nampak Ceo Mr. Andrew Marshall from Cape Town...We are located today at the Waterfront Hotel in Cape Town where our interview is shot...Let's get to it...Briefly give an outline of the business and what advice is on offer to the panel to personalities who choose to run their own businesses in the father nation...?
Raymond Ackerman: Pick 'n Pay started more than sixty years ago when my late father was alive and at that time there was very little opportunities for stores in South Africa...We started our business in 1944 as one shop and I remember surrounding businesses and staff were to buy their lunches from us...After three years we seen the need to grow the business beyond Cape Town and bought the business next door and across the street and converted the business to Pick 'n Pay...At that time, we were like the thousands of Supermarkets in the country and had three branches in Cape Town by 1947...I remember we worked 18 hours per day and people who start purchasing from the stores during breakfast, lunch and supper and slowly families started to shop with us...We grew up very poor and the community had little faith in what we could achieve...With the birth of my first son in 1953 Pick 'n Pay decided to open up another four branches in Cape Town with the support of the net turnover we created...This is truly a 'rags to riches,' story because I could remember that before we started the business my wife and I had no food on our table when the first store was opened in 1944...In 1953, we had built up R500-000.00 rand and decided instead of growing the current branch the launch of four new branches could extend the brand in Cape Town...With these seven stores, we now have over 3000 stores nationally and are expanding at one store per day, because of the dreams we had set out my our grandfathers, fathers, mothers and working staff of the country...We have become successful because we innovate our markets and provide healthy groceries to millions of South African's...
Andrew Marshall: We started our company more than fifty years ago and I guess what seperates the Lions from the Hyena's in business is the ability to 'Never say die...' Within the first five years of the company starting we had showed a net loss of R280.000-00 and many people from the country had said that the business should be closed down because we were not producing the results forecasted when the business started...We then decided to market our business more aggressively and spend on properties, and extend our business with businessmen who had understood of the business...Nampak is a premier bottling company that bottles for Coca-Cola and other companies that produce juices and soft drinks and we found that our dreams were being realized by the motivation created to our staff...Within seven years our losses were erased and it was basically as though we were starting again...We then decided to merge our company with other companies and marketed the business to corporations and businesses that were booming...Within ten years we were 'in the money,' but a certain element was missing and thus we decided that South African's will be happier if they deliver the finished product to us, then we bottle the product...We then moved into our divisions of distribution of the product but this took time...As Raymond said, invest in the right people, invest in the right brands, invest in the right tools and soley the big business will come your way...What makes Nampak one of the biggest and best companies to deal with is that our marketing works with word of mouth and we believe that wastage spending is spent by businesses and we saved billions of rands on this by a government agreement...!
Omar Abdulla: Interesting dreams and notes to the public...When I turned 18, I was kicked out of my house to sleep on the streets of Pretoria and I had no education and very little money...I then decided to work for a motor-car company who employed me for R3000.00 per month which just covered my University and basic food requirements...I remember that whilst I was sleeping at a nearby park I proclaimed that one day I will 'Rule this country,' and bring the dreams of every South African to reality...I then moved back with my parents and completed my degree and I was doing well earning over R100-000.00 per month in 2001-2003...I then completed my degree and destruction struck that I lost 'my wife to be,' in a car accident and lost over a billion rand in the stock market...I was left with no money and very little confidence because I had lost almost the entire communities investment within one evening...I then went into a depression filled with drugs that lasted until 2010 whereby I proclaimed again, that I was not to repeat old mistakes and START fresh...I then started this show, which is bringing good results, but not results of that earning the figures I once earned...I am thankful to my father, my mother and my wife because they stuck with me when I needed them most...I have once again proclaimed the dreams I once had, and with God's grace only time will tell of my success story...Back in a moment...!

Omar Abdulla: Welcome back to The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW produced by Footprints Filmworks...It's funny that determination is the root of most people's success and no failure goes unturned when creating a recipe for success...An American story that perhaps is well-told of 'rags to riches,' is the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken where at the tender age of 68 the nomad went door-to-door- to sell his recipe for chicken...After the 200th knock at the door someone invested $32 000-00 in his business and today rakes in billions of dollars per annum...I received a question from Smitha Singh from Durban who asks the panel how does one recover from a loss if one was 'high and flying,' in business...??
Raymond Ackerman: In 2003, we had over 700 stores in Western Cape and my son had invested with an Australian company a sum of $453 million dollars...At that time, we were doing well and we felt that the investment could grow Pick 'n Pay beyond South Africa in Australia...It turned out that the loss sufferred by the business was the entire capital plus other expenses to the company...We were forced to close down 322 stores within a year because of his investment...When it comes to recovery in a buisiness cycle, learn 'Never to repeat old mistakes,' and learn to make decesions with your heart...I found in many of the interviews that I have provided including Cape Talk, Radio 702, Lotus FM and Metro FM that one has to 'fall-in-love,' with ones business for the business to grow financially...You have to love the name, the brand, what the company does and what the company provides...I laugh at many of our Indian store owners because they sit behind a counter waiting for a person to buy from their store without adding any value to the country...You have to put your hand in your pocket to help others, grow others, assist others and support others...The reason many of our Indian and Black businesses fail in business is because they horde their sharings...Give a little...Share a little...!
Omar Abdulla: We have received a l a s t email from Francious White from Polokwane who asks the panel if their was a 'success recipe,' what would it be and what are the l a w s of business to follow in the mother nation...??
Andrew Marshall: You can have 5000 degree's in business Francious and the laws of business and trade change often...The holy Prophet of Islam was perhaps the most treasured businessman and that's what we as South African's can take from the Islamic religion...It is unfortunate that many businesses horde their fortune or invest too little into business fortune to form a foundation for the future...The recipe of success depends on what you are selling or what product you are offering...Imagination is good...Prayer is good....Business practice and knowledge is good...Luck is good...And remember that no-matter what happens 'give-it-your-best-shot...' I laugh at what Raymond says about Indian businessman because they fail to understand what a share is or how to share in business...You rather have a one percent share of a multi-billion rand business than be a majority shareholder of a million rand business...! Think big, aim high, set definite goals...!
Omar Abdulla: Thank you to our guests from Footprints Filmworks and The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW...Tomorrow we will be b a c k again talking about Genetics in the global diaspora of life, and the importance of genetics in modern society...Sianara...!

Episode 40-Season Five
Filmed December 23rd 2011
Duration-45 Minutes
Omar Abdulla: Shew, it's our 40th episode and the network has asked me for a month break next year for studio audiences to grasp the information on our portals and will be taking a break in January and distributing the product on channels, websites, television studio's and other networks and will shoot SEASON SIX in The United States of America in February...Welcome to The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW filmed by Footprints Filmworks...I have been receiving 'raving, raging, roaming reports,' about this SHOW where fans have been 'standing-in-line,' to feature in our productions...Please call our h e a d o f f i c e number on 0123703469 to be part of this SHOW...Today, we have Professor Jacques Liebenberg and Laboratory Lecturer Dr. Samantha White from Johannesburg joining us in studio today at the Westcliff Hotel in Johannesburg...Today, we will be talking and discussing about GENETICS of humans and animals in the global diaspora of life...Let's get to it...What is the importance of Genetics in modern society and what can 'everyday people,' learn about this chemistry of life...??
Dr. Samantha White: Genetics is a code system encrypted into the human body that gives meaning to the way you look, the way you feel, the way you act and the way you d r e a m...DNA is located in the chromosome of the human cell and binded in a 'twisted-helix,' to provide heredity features to the human or animal body...There are 23 chromosomes that each person has in their cells and persons who have 21 or 24 chromosomes are sometimes born retarted or without certain skills...
Jacques Liebenberg: With the growth of technology and the mix between medicine and business has revolutionised society with the creation of cloning, immortality and other features that is being studied by bio-chemists in South Africa, Greece, Canada and India...We can safely say that a dead dog can be cloned within weeks from his death into the same dog with similiar memories...This is created by taking a simple sample of blood from the dead dog and put into a transmission whereby the dog is born from a new mother...This is currently being studied to envelop this tool by humans whereby a human can live upto 300 years with a re-generation of tissue cells and the copying of his or her cells put into injected into the ovary of a woman...Many sperm donors in South Africa and the rest of the world receive millions of rands for their sperm because either they are good-looking or smart and potential women who choose to get pregnant select the male donor without sexual intercourse to be injected into their ovary to reap the rewards of a son to look like Omar Abdulla or a daughter to look like Priyanka Chopra...!
Omar Abdulla: Haha, Thank you for that Jacques, I am goodlooking with God's grace and as 'my mother says,' I get hotter and hotter each day, although I am still young and try to keep to the brand of 'raging teenagers...' Moving on, Let's talk more about children that are born retarted or with chromosome structures that don't suite them, is there a way to cure such an ailment...??
Dr. Samantha White: There is medication to cure this process but often enough doctors can pick this ailment up before the child is born and the mother is given special medication to grow or duplicate another chromosone structure for the young baby...If the child is born retarted the child could often be the 'laughing-stalk,' of the family and is often treated with mild cell repair that helps the ailing child....
Omar Abdulla: Back in a moment...!

Omar Abdulla: Welcome back to The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW produced by Footprints Filmworks...I received a TWEET from Jeniffer Kruger from Pretoria who laughs at this show, who smiles at this show, who thinks so 'wonderful,' about this show after reading about this show in a local newspaper...She says that 'she cannot wait,' to see Footprints Filmworks and Omar Abdulla to fill 'reams-of-paper,' in coming months because she can't get enough of this Superstar...I received another email from Pamela Jones from Eastern Cape that asks the panel why are blacks fast runners and whites 'good-with-business,' in this general genome make-up...??
Dr. Samantha White: Yes, and very true...Dark toned people are generally fast runners, great boxers, normally very passionate and generally very strong with their mind, body, and spirit and are great cooks...Lighter toned people are normally good in business and studies with a sparkle of romance...Research has shown that dark toned people are less likely to attract Cancer whilst lighter toned people are more likely to attract Cancer...A book that I am reading says that lighter toned people are more likely to take drugs, drink alcohol and get involved in crime...The book goes further to say that people who are light toned are better lovers than their dark toned friends whilst majority of people who study genetics say that dark-toned people are 80 percent more likely to cheat on their spouses whilst light-toned people rarely 'share-a-roving-eye...' Just Genetics, it may be true by theory....
Omar Abdulla: Uhmm, Interesting and now I am discovering new facts about these causes in Life...I have a last email from Johan Stauss from Port Shepstone who asks the panel about general GENETIC NEWS making 'healines,' in the last five years and what can the general community expect from Scientists of this study...??
Jacques Liebenberg: You know Omar, If I had 40 cents that question gets asked, I'd be a billionaire today...The reason Genetics is so important because one can easily learn from ones father and ones mother about themselves...If you want to learn about yourself-Watch your parents and they will give you the answer...The future of Genetics is that people will be able to live to 300, we will be able to bring 'back-the-dead,' we will be able to clone yourself and we will be able to transfer certain qualities that you choose to your children...Infact we will be able to design your children for you before they are born...
Omar Abdulla: Thanks to our guests from our final episode of The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW filmed by Footprints Filmworks...We will be taking a break in January and will be back with SEASON SIX in February...Our advice from Footprints Filmworks...Purchase one of our advertised diaries and spend the afternoon writing down what your plans and dreams are for 2012 with distinct dreams about the FUTURE...SEE YOU IN U.S.A in 2012...Salaams to you my 'trusted friends...'

Episode 41-Season Six
Filmed 1 February 2012
Duration-45 Minutes
Omar Abdulla: Happy NEW YEAR AND WE HOPE THAT YOU SAT ALONE ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON PLANNING THE AWESOME YEAR AHEAD... Welcome to SEASON SIX of The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW filmed in The United States...Just a quick briefing before we begin our show today...I would like to thank the millions of fans that we have locally and internationally for their support, their love, their compassion and their thoughts about this SHOW and we welcome guests to Google The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW or Footprints Filmworks for p a s t seasons of this show...This is my second visit to The United States in 2012 after meeting with President Barack Obama and Michael Jackson in June 2009 and my parents have allocated me further investments into the company to promote Footprints Filmworks in The United States with a construction of a studio, offices, 500 000 American 'community-websites,' and other dreams set out by myself...I have received thoughts, taughts and w o r d s by members from my home community of South Africa inspiring me to 'carry-on,' even with the attention I receive...Today, we will be meeting with two actors who have played vital roles in The United States including Mr. Leonardo Di Caprio and Mrs, Angelina Jolie who both have agreed to meet me today at the Pearl Harbour island in Florida...Welcome to our guests...Briefly give an outline of what success means to you and what were your starting points in this industry...!
Leonardo Di Caprio: Thank you for having us on this show today...I started off at the tender age of 19 where I joined the entertainment business and worked at drama newspapers in The United States and worked with Director James Cameron on my first ever film of Titanic...It was a dream come true because I got to understand the relationship of underworld dons and what society proclaims as success...I was a waiter before I joined the industry and many people did not show interest in what I did or the effort I put into my dreams...I got to realize after Titanic that it's unfortunate that people respect you when you 'rich and famous,' and don't give two hoots about you if you are not destined for success...I have built a name in this industry because of my harsh upbringing and my abilities to cope with the success felt...Watching The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW filmed a few months ago I have a similiar story of that of the Bollywood hunk Shar Rukh Khan...
Angelina Jolie: When you become the epic of every man's dreams, when you become the most admired star in Hollywood, when men have wet dreams about you and when crowds chant your name, that is what I dreamt of success as a nine year old child playing with Barbie doll...Well, success means different things to a person and it also depends what a person chooses out of life...There are over eight billion people and each one of us is different and not a single person that ever lived will smell like you, dream like you, be like you and act like you...In the United States success is if you are a 'mover and shaker,' speaking on two cellphones at a time, drive fancy Ferrari's, own a massive business and date women that perhaps taught you were a nerd in school...Working in the film industry has it's up's and down's and sometimes we film three different films in one day, and sometimes we out of work for months without pay...This business works with reputation and many of the financiars in the film industry are from India, Canada, Greece and South Africa...Many of the people who invest millions of dollars in our films are drivers of the trade...My story is perhaps untold because my husband hides me away from the camera's and I keep my life away from the Paparazzi...
Omar Abdulla: Let's say that I am a small time producer from Indiana and I want to produce a blockbuster film like Titantic, Teminator or a Bollywood flick with will flock audiences to my film because I have the talent and personality to match the standards of the likes of a Leonardo Di Caprio or a Shar Rukh Khan...??
Leonardo Di Caprio: Most actors after about thirty years become producers or directors of films after learning from their teachers of the business...You cannot pick up a camera and say Let's make Titanic or you cannot call a production house saying that you Leonardo Di Caprio and you want to act...It's a cat and mouse game with underworld financiars and many of them will finance the producer and not the actor...From my experience, if you have a good enough script like 'A Walk to Remember,' or 'The Wizard of OZ,' and have the backing of people who will read your script you sell the script to a production house for about $5 million dollars...Once you have sold the script your duty is done as a writer and the work is left to the production house to re-sell the script for a higher price or produce the film...Films in The United States range from $10-$300 million dollars depending on the cinema budget you have chosen...Many films are being converted for re-distribution into 3D, DVD and 4-peg to cater for viewers in Canada, Japan, Pakistan and India...If you have about a million dollars or even $100 000 dollars invest into a small feature and build the brand name from there...Men like Shar Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Michael Jackson and other stars started somewhere...It's like knitting a garment...You have to have the picture and then build from there....
Omar Abdulla: Back in a moment...!!

Omar Abdulla: Welcome back to The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW produced by Footprints Filmworks...It's funny that people pay so much attention to looks in this country and society as a whole that people are willing to marry you based on your looks...On my arrival to The United States this l a s t week I spoke to about a dozen women who call me baby, darling and other pet names and are easily picked up with some even offering sex before marriage...I am lucky that my wife gets to sit in South Africa watching me on local television otherwise she would freak the attention I receive here especially from foreign nationals...I received an email from Joanne Schmidt from Philadelphia asking Mr. Leonardo Dicaprio what is his recipe for love after being the heartrob of millions of fans in The United States...!
Leonardo Dicaprio: What Omar says is so true, about being picked up and sometimes you get so use to being talked and spoken about you rarely feel the need to love...As a person I often don't pay attention to the 'love-thrills,' of women and as a Lion of my den I prefer to sleep with different women in one night without committing...It's better to be a bachlor and as men my advice is marry only when you reach 50 because screw around as much as possible, infact be 'the biggest playa,' under the sun...Love is for girls with all their mushy stories, as men we are only interested in the hole, and love perhaps comes when you mature and choose to invest your money and time in wasted garbage...!
Angelina Jolie: It's true you have to ready to love Joanne because as women our bodies are meant to pleasure a man because we are created from the rib of men...But we have to be respected as well...Remember that you can be 'the biggest playa,' under the sun-but one day a woman will break your heart and you will cry...Rather be honest and if you in it only for sex and kisses than don't tell a woman you want to marry her, then after you have had your 'load of juice,' spread like butter on toast on her, then leave her...We have feelings too...As woman we open our legs easily because we want love, we want gifts, we want to be called sexy nicknames and we want the fancy love-bites...Remember Omar, that your wife who sits on that couch at home is worth a million and one women because she supports you...You can have billions of fans internationally, but that means fuck-all if you cannot make one woman happy...Sorry for my language...
Omar Abdulla: Haha, Angelina, it's the first time someone has sworn on our show and although your w o r d s mean alot we have done loads of programs about love on this show and hopefully the two of you will be back....I have a l a s t email from Nishaal Lalla from Indiana who asks Angelina Jolie what does her husband say about men having wet dreams about her...??
Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt, he is almost most womens dreams so I am the epic of a man's fantasy, that is true but it's virtual...We respect each other and a person in Moscow can have an orgasm about it, it's the law of life...It's like you can see the menu but DO NOT TOUCH...My husband is like a hawk who watches every move I make and don't be fooled out there...Sometimes husbands act like they not interested in what you have to say, but they are the biggest lovers if a woman is willing to go 'that extra,' kinky way...!
Omar Abdulla: Thank you to our guests from Footprints Filmworks and The 'Omar Abdulla,' SHOW...Michael Jackson is back and his death hoax created two years ago was a phasad as he makes his comeback experience on this SHOW...Our interview tomorrow is with 'King of Pop,' Michael Jackson....Ciao...!
