You can't make this stuff up guys - Kurt Angle says that he's considering another try at the Olympic games and he's dead serious.

"It's not just this old man trying to lash out to get publicity," Angle told WTAE Channel 4 Action News on Friday. "It's about really making the team and making a point that, you know what, the 40s is not old. It's the new young. I feel really good at 42, and I might be making a statement that him and I are going to start training for the Olympics and go after the U.S. Open, the Olympic team trials, and then the Olympics," Angle said.

"Everyone asks me, 'How can you do all of these things?' And I always tell them I'll rest when I die," Angle said. "I don't rest very much. I like to do things, I like to accomplish things, and I have a passion for everything that I do, including pro wrestling, and I miss the Olympic wrestling."

"But if we're going to make this (Olympic) commitment, we're going to do it, and it starts in August," he said.

Angle is the man, and honestly, he works pro wrestling matches just as good, if not better, than he has for the whole last decade. He is a machine, and I think he'll do exceptionally well in the Olympics. However, he will have a huge target on him just because of who he is.

I honestly do not see Kurt making it. Like Joey said, all sports evolve, mentally and physically. However, I would love to see Kurt make it, but I do not see it happening. If he does, that would be super awesome.

All I have to say is that Kurt Angle screams "I'm going to die in a very strange and most likely public way". Whether that's in a ring or on a mat is beyond me.

Much better, more constructive reply than your first Joe. While I do agree with everything you say, it still doesn't mean that Angle couldn't do it. Roman Grecko, Freestyle, and Folkstyle wrestling really haven't evolved that much since there original origin. Angle has the technique and abilities stored within him, but whether or not he can perform on the needed level is definitely questionable. I still think it's awesome that he's doing this, if it's even legit.

Alot of people seem to be concerned about Angle's health and I've always read on wrestling forums alot of people say he needs to slow down. Personally, I don't think it's any of our places to determine what the man should do, and regaurdless of what we think he should do, Kurt Angle is going to do whatever Kurt Angle wants to do. If the man loves wrestling so much that he dies in a ring, than so be it. It will make his legacy all the more epic.
