| Extreme Pure Wrestling first went by the name of Extremely Painful Wresting, the name was changed because many thought the name was getting old and wanted a change to come in EPW. EPW was started in 2005 as a small group of friends who pretty much had no idea how to wrestle and evolved into a large group friends who actually can wrestle. After 2005 went by, 2006 had arrived and lets just say Death Generation X took EPW by storm at this point. Finally 2007 came in along and so did a camera, EPW had finally released it's first official MV, Rampage 1, over the following weeks more MV's had been posted along with its first supershow Unholy Carnage. Later MV's were uploaded along with two more supershows, No Turning Back and Violent Vendetta. In 2008 there were no shows due to alot shit that went down between people, not alot of it had to do with Josh Bell apparantely (See Smoking Kills MV for more details.) One year had passed without EPW and Then in 2009 it came back and it’s going to be better than ever in oncoming year's with it's current roster
