| Davey's entertaining but imo represents a lot of what's wrong with modern indy wrestling. Focuses too much on big moves and fighting spirit and obnoxious nearfalls. Also, Roderick Strong deserves to be more than a transitional reign. Him winning the belt should be treated as a huge deal. |

Okay I got the mark out of me...
But allright, I agree with Andrew Wright. Roderick is more old school than most of the ROH roster but is super entertaining as well. He can really wrestle and do more than stiff moves and falsies. Also, he is way overdue as far as gold goes (sure FIP champ, but who the heck watches FIP reguarly?). Roderick is a good face and if they turn him heel, I'll watch to see how he does. He has really good matches a lot and is small enough to work both as a cruiserweight and a hard-hitter. I'm gonna be interested to see who he loses the title too (if it's Davey I'll be dissapointed but understand; I'm booking for Strong vs Daniels fued as well as Strong vs Homicide). Overall, putting the belt on Roderick Strong (a huge fan favorite after a rather dissapointing Tyler Black reign in my opinion) is a good move. _____________________ | tonyficaccio wrote: |

Davey is coming back. His mom died, and his marriage is in trouble (possibly kayfabe) so he thought why not just wrestle more. |
