BYW actually is important. So its not on TV and isnt important to some from an outside view but constantly traveling across the country or having people fly and drive across the world to you must mean its something amirite? You usually have really sound arguments for your points and present intelligent discussion, but 'i'm a mother fucking wrestler and i came to fuck shit up' wasn't one of those moments. But as for the rest of what you said, I never said that byw didn't mean anything to me, I've loved my time doing it and I consider the guys I've met and wrestled part of my family. But the fact of the matter is, the people that preach the importance of backyard wrestling and think they're the best at what they do, are the ones that are going to be in wheelchairs when they're older, all because they landed on their head one too many times just so that twenty people would say 'ohhhh' and talk about it on the internet.
BYW is important, to an extent. I never disagreed with that. I'm saying it's been inflated by people from the old days and kids these days are going to try to emulate guys like Lee Andrews until they too cannot do what they love anymore. Nothing against Lee, who I think is a really good guy and really solid in the ring when he wants to be, he didn't need to bump like that, and now he's paying the price for it. I don't want to see the best friends I've made through BYW go through that. |

| I think it goes back to the reason why byw started. It wasn't to do a bunch of flips and ill placed spots, it was to emulate our favorite pro wrestlers. You know, the ones who actually do use psychology and believable things in their matches? |
