(Matches will be announced one a day)Round 1 Match 1:
Backyard Dream Match: Tek vs. J-Spyder
Greetings
all! John Evans back again and quite excited to be presenting the first
match for July 11th's UWA Crossroads: Destiny Fulfilled tournament. For
the next 12 days I will preview one new match per day, until all of the
first round combatants have been announced.

The first match
announced is one that is surely to get the backyard wrestling community
talking, as two of the biggest names on the current backyard scene will
clash in round 1, that being Tek and J-Spyder. This will not be the
first time these two have clashed, and it surely won't be the last. Tek
and J-Spyder's UWA matches have seen some devastating maneuvers
delivered upon one another. Most notably, in December of 2003, during
UWA's Snow Brawl battle royale, Tek eliminated Spyder by performing a
vertabreaker on the edge of the old tramp-o-ring.

These two
have also met numerous times in tag team competition. At Hotter Than
Hell 2005, UWA Tag Team Champion Tek, along with New Reality v. 2 tag
partner Kris Kaos, defeated J-Spyder and his partner, former UWA
Heavyweight Champion AceJack. Spyder would gain his revenge at Last
Breath 2005, when he, along with his High and Mighty Tag Partner Chris
Mavrick, defeated Tek and Kaos to become the last ever UWA tag team
champions. Since UWA has come to a close, Tek and Spyder have gone onto
backyard super stardom. They are both nationally recognized in the
backyard wrestling community and regularly appear on "super shows"
across the United States. Surely, the eyes of the backyard community
will be fixed on this match.

TEK
Hometown: Clark NJ
Finishing Maneuver: The Teknicality, The Cannonball
Career
Highlights: UWA Tag Team Champion (2x), UWA Cruiserweight Champion, UCW
Heavyweight Champion (2x), UCW Ladder Match Champion, 2007 Reunion Show
Brawl For All Winner.

Profile: Tek is a name known well in the
backyard wrestling community. Known far and wide for his trademark cry
of "WHO WANTS TO GO SWIMMING!?" the master of the Cannonball gained his
start in the UWA before becoming the self proclaimed King of Backyard
Wrestling. Tek arrived at the UWA arena in 2002 as a part of an
invasion from the federation UCW, based out of his hometown of Clark
NJ. When the UWA ultimately prevailed in the struggle, Tek was
assimilated into the UWA fold, capturing the tag team championships
with long time tag partner Joey Nigma. Together they formed the
original New Reality. The partnership proved to be short lived, as Tek
and Enigma eventually split up, as Tek went on to become a founding
member of the Ultra Violent Movement, alongside AceJack. With his
"Papa" AceJack at his side, Tek began a campaign of violence, facing
off against opponents like Sean Damage McNelis, Angellus, and Vince
Regal, before he eventually listened to the fans' cheering and turned
on AceJack. Tek went on to make a name for himself in singles
competition, launching into violent feuds with the likes of Cypress,
Archadia, AceJack, and most notably his former best friend Dr. John
Bowes. In 2005, Tek turned on AceJack once again, joining Vincent
Valentean's Disciples of Darkness, where he rediscovered his tag team
roots alongside Kris Kaos. Together they formed the New Reality v. 2,
and toppled such notable foes as Archadia, Myke Quest, Cypress, Brian
Brass, Big Dan Winant, Kyle Winant, AveJack, Arkum and Sean Damage
McNelis. Tek looks to return to UWA once again at Destiny Fulfilled,
and prove to one and all that he's the true King of Backyard wrestling.

J-Spyder
Hometown: New Brunswick, NJ
Finishing Maneuver: Spider's Wed, High Five, Dead Baby Driver
Career Highlights: UWA Eur-Asian Champion, UWA Tag Team Champion (Last Ever), DWF Heavyweight Champion (Last Ever)

Profile:
J-Spyder made his first UWA appearance as a participant in the 2003
Brawl for All match, as a part of an influx of talent from the DWF
promotion from Flemington, NJ. He entered the UWA amidst a slew of
controversy; his hard hitting style being new the the UWA. After
dealing a crushing defeat to former UWA wrestler Dizzaster, Spyder
embarked a singles career for the rest of 2003, going so far as to
challenge the super heavyweights of the UWA. His match with Donnie
Sexton goes down in history, and the clip of him jumping off of the
shed onto Sexton remains one of the most sought after UWA highlights.
His largest undertaking in 2003 was challenging former UWA Heavyweight
Champion Big Dan Winant, a venture in which he failed. In 2004, Spyder
began a tag career as High and Mighty, with The Hired Gun Chris
Mavrick, who Spyder had brought into the federation by Spyder.
Together, the two became High and Mighty, and had many great matches
against the likes of Pozitively Real, Da Stiff Squad, and the Machine
and Kyle Smiley. After High and Mighty's subsequent break up, Spyder
went on to capture the UWA Eur-Asian Championship from long-time
champion Arkum. In 2005 Spyder continued to have many classic matches
with the likes of Arkum, Myke Quest, Chris Mavrick, AceJack, and Chris
Redfield. Spyder ended up joining forces with Mavrick once more, to
capture the UWA Tag Team Championships at Last Breath 2005.

UWA Hotter Than Hell 2004 Rematch: Arkum vs. Eddie Idol
By John Evans

The
final UWA show on July 11 will see a rematch from Hotter Than Hell
2004, as the former UWA Eur-Asian Champion, Arkum, takes on the former
commissioner of the UWA, Eddie Idol.

The two met in August of
2004, when Idol, then the commissioner of the UWA, put his power as
commissioner up for grabs in this match against Arkum's membership to
the super group known as the Natural Born Wrestlers. The match saw
Idol's mastery of old school wrestling clash with Arkum's grace and
innovative offense. The match ended when Arkum’s Joker Driver was
countered into a quick roll-up by Idol. Idol was declared the winner,
and Arkum’s days as a member of the NBW came to an abrupt ending.

This
match was a turning point in the careers of both men. Idol, fueled by
his big win, moved up in the singles ranks, even scoring a victory
against former UWA Heavyweight Champion Brian Brass. He also went on to
captain his own team at UWA Wargames 2004, which is another story
in-and-of itself.

Arkum, spurned by his one time friends in
the NBW, turned to the fans for support, where he earned his spot as a
fan favorite in the UWA.

Arkum

Hometown: Gotham City New York
Finishing Maneuver: Grave Digger, Joker Driver
Career Highlights: UWA Eur-Asian Champion (2x), Runner Up in the 2005 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament

Profile:
Arkum came to the UWA in 2003, premiering at the grandest stage the UWA
had to offer, Armageddon IV. He would go on to spend the rest of the
season battling the ghosts of his past, as he feuded intensely, first,
with childhood friend AceJack, whom he later joined forces with as a
part of the Ultra Violent Movement. The latter half of 2003, Arkum
tormented and tortured his former best friend Vincent
Valentean/Angellus, forcing his fellow gothamite to endure steal chairs
to the head week in and week out, and actually join the UVM.
Arkum’s
season ended when Valentean bested Arkum at Last Breath 2003, retiring
him from active competition. However Arkum’s retirement proved short
lived, as he returned again at Armageddon V in 2004, defeating
Eur-Asian Champion Scotty Deletto and capturing the title for the
second time. Arkum returned as a member of Vince Regal’s Natural Born
Wrestlers, until a timely loss to Commissioner Eddie Idol at Hotter
Than Hell 2004 ended his association with the group. Following this
loss, Arkum was betrayed and attacked by NBW members.
Arkum and
his girlfriend Tara Valifax were the frequent victims of The Outlaw
Dave Winant, when Winant returned from incarceration inside of a
casket, believing himself to be “a god.” Arkum returned to his Ultra
Violent roots at Last Breath 2004 to defeat Winant in an Ultra Violent
Pentathalon Match, sealing the false god inside the casket once again.
In 2005 Arkum would have a memorable feud with UWA jerk-wad and WAAYNE
Enterprizes employee Chris Redfield. He ultimately triumphed over old
enemy Vincent Valentean at Last Breath 2005, shattering his former
friends arm and driving him out of the event.

Eddie Idol
Hometown: Memphis, New Jersey
Finishing Maneuver: Fresh Maker
Career Highlights: UWA Tag Team Champion, UWA Commissioner

Profile:
Eddie Idol came to the UWA at Brawl for All 2003 along with other
members of the now defunct DWF promotion. Idol returned as a
representative of the DWF, representing his newest clients, the New
Reality, consisting of Tek and Joey Nigma.
When New Reality
ultimately folded, Idol formed a reluctant tag team with Joey Nigma,
together they captured the UWA Tag Team titles as the Red Headed
Italians. This incredibly popular tag team would hold the titles until
ultimately losing them to Cypress and Brian Brass. When Nigma reformed
New Reality for one night only with Tek, to combat the UVM, Idol took
instant offense, turning on his partner.
In 2004, Idol feuded with
Vince Regal’s NBW since its inception. Eventually, Regal’s abuse of
power led to the UWA Board of Commissioners naming Eddie Idol the
commissioner of the United Wrestling Alliance. His reign as
commissioner was fraught with peril as he battled the likes of Arkum,
and Brian Brass, the latter going so far as to weed wack him.
When
Idol captained his team into the 2004 Wargames match, the pressures of
the position seemed to finally catch up with him as he suffered a
complete nervous breakdown, turning on his own team and renouncing his
commissionership.
In 2005 Idol once again reigned as a fan
favorite with memorable matches against JT Highlander, BMF, Casey Quake
Reynolds, and AceJack.

UCW Grudge Match: Vincent Valentean vs. SEG
Hello
all, John Evans here with a detailed look at one of the first round
tournament matches being featured at the Final UWA Reunion Show. On
July 11th at UWA Crossroads: Destiny Fulfilled, the first round of the
tournament will feature a grudge match eight years in the making. Out
of the ashes of the defunct Unreal Championship Wrestling federation,
two UWA Allumni will clash when former UWA Heavyweight Champion Vincent
Valentean faces former UCW Heavyweight Champion SEG.

These men
have a storied rivalry, as they launched into a brutal and very bloody
rivalry over the UCW Heavyweight Championship. SEG, with help from
former UWA tag team champion Joey Nigma, defeated Valentean in UCW's
infamous buried alive match to gain the UCW Championship. Valentean
would return to UCW as his vengeful alter ego Angellus, and faced off
with SEG in a non-title singles bout, ripping open his forehead and
bloodying the UCW Champion until he was unconscious.

Since
then, the two never met again in singles competition. Both have a lot
to prove in this one, and it is a true rubber match between two of the
most intense individuals in the history of the UWA.

VV

Hometown: Gotham City New York
Finishing Maneuver: Nail in the Coffin (Diamond Cutter)
Career
Highlights: UWA Undisputed Heavyweight Champion, UWA Regional Champion,
UWA Eur-Asian Champion, UCW Heavyweight Champion (4x) (Last Ever), UCW
Tag Team Champion (with Sean Damage McNelis)

Profile: Vincent
Valentean is one of the most sadistic and demented individuals to ever
compete in the UWA. He came onto the scene in 2003 as the Commissioner
of the United Wrestling Alliance, a title he eventually lost to Vince
Regal in a winner take all match at Crossroads of Destiny 2003.
Following this defeat, he was unceremoniously fired from the UWA, only
to return two weeks later as his demented alter ego Angellus. Valentean
would return to the UWA once again at Living on the Edge 2003, when he
returned to deal a crushing blow to his arch nemesis Arkum. Valentean
would go on to make a name for himself in singles competition
throughout 2004, capturing the UCW Heavyweight Champion from Sean
Damage McNelis at Hotter Than Hell 2004. However it wasn't until
Valentean and Angellus united that his career really took off, with
notable victories over The Outlaw Dave Winant, Brian Brass, AceJack,
and Chris Mavrick. Valentean would go onto form the Disciples of
Darkness and capture the UWA Undisputed Heavyweight Championship in
2005.

S.E.G

Hometown: Clark NJ
Finishing Maneuver: Frog Splash, F-5
Career Highlights: UCW Heavyweight Champion

Profile:
SEG, real name Sal E. Gradunza, is most notably characterized by his
cocky, arrogant persona. He burst onto the scene of an Upstart,
shortlived promotion called UEW, before becoming one of the founding
members of the UCW. SEG was a member of the original NBW, going so far
as to take the group over entirely, after turning on original NBW
leader Sean Damage McNelis, and exiling him from the group. SEG
captured the UCW Heavyweight Championship from Vincent Valentean during
UCW's first, and only, buried alive match. After that, SEG became a
true force to be reckoned with in the UCW, going so far as to take the
entire show hostage until he got what he wanted. SEG was also the
recipient of UCW's 2002 Match of the Year, in which he teamed with Sean
Damage McNelis against the original New Reality Tek and Enigma. SEG
made a number of appearances in the UWA throughout 2003. Most notably,
taking on UWA Hardcore Champion Dr. John Bowes, First Class Brian
Brass, and UWA Heavyweight Champion Cypress. SEG makes his return to
the ring after 5 years of inactivity at UWA Crossroads: Destiny
Fulfilled.

UWA Last Breath 2005 Rematch: Amazing Green vs. Jon "The Future" Rome
By John Evans

Last
Breath 2005 saw the last ever UWA Cruiserweight Title match fought
between the Amazing Green, and Jon "The Future" Rome. The match saw the
veteran cruiserweight, Green, get the pinfall and earn the right to
call himself the last ever UWA cruiserweight champion. This is sure to
be a match to watch, as both wrestlers came into their own following
the closing of the UWA. Green now wrestles as independent worker Zack
Novack, while Jon Rome went onto become The Superstar Jon Rome.

When
a former green horn and the supposed future of the UWA meet again on
the final UWA show, only one will claim victory and move into the final
round. Who it will be can be anyone's guess.

The Amazing Green
Home Town: Greensborough North Carolina
Finishing Maneuver: Green Star Press, Angel Wings
Career Highlights: UWA Cruiserweight Champion (4x) (Last Ever)

Profile:
The Amazing Green's journey in the United Wrestling Alliance is a true
coming of age story. He first came to the UWA in 2003 as a small and
mostly silent child, trying to compete in a world full Big Dans and
Donnie Sextons. What Green lacked in physical size he more than made up
for with his high flying aerial maneuvers.

Eventually Green
became one of the founding members of the UWA cruiserweight division in
2003. Along with such wrestlers as Jason Regal, Rich Bucks, Spider-Man,
and Kyle Smiley, Green battled for the coveted UWA cruiserweight
championship, a title he won from Jason Regal in the belt's maiden
voyage.

Green held his own as the champion, and even showed
that he can hang with the big boys when Spider-Man no showed his Last
Breath 2003 match with Green. His new opponent was none other than the
boss himself, Vince Regal. Green pulled off a massive upset, defeating
Regal to end the season off on a high note.

Green went on to be
picked on mercilessly in 2003 by Regal's Natural Born Wrestlers. They
succeeded in taking the cruiserweight title from him, when NBW member
Kris Kaos defeated Green at Brawl for All 2004. Eventually Green had
enough of all the larger and stronger wrestlers in the company, and
changed his persona to The Amazing Mike Krush. Krush didn't care for
the fans or the rules, but fared no better than Green when faced with
larger opponents.

In 2005, Krush returned to his roots as the
Amazing Green, where he defeated Tek to once again reign as the
Cruiserweight Champion. Green dropped the belt to Jon The Future Rome,
only to reclaim what was rightfully his at Last Breath 2005 to become
the last ever cruiserweight champion.

After UWA folded, Green
came into his own on the independent scene, facing off the the UWA
veterans who so easily trounced him before. Green had memorable matches
with the likes of Vincent Valentean, Big Dan, Arkum, and Archadia.

John "The Future" Rome
Hometown: Lincoln, New Hampshire
Finishing Maneuver: Emancipation Proclimation
Career Highlights: UWA Cruiserweight Champion

Profile:
When UWA 2005 opened, the first thing anyone saw was the face of a
young upstart named Jon Rome. Rome entered the ring and introduced the
owner of the UWA, Vince Regal. Regal introduced Rome as his new Ward,
dubbing him "The Future."

Rome worked alongside Regal to take
down Paul Regal, the middle child of the Regal family and the constant
thorn in the side of big brother Vince. Rome's firey and often
unpredictable temper caused him severe episodes where he would scream
at the fans, often flinging his own elbow pads at them in furious anger.

Rome's
temper earned him the attention of Vincent Valentean, who wanted to
recruit him to his Disciples of Darkness. This lit a fire under Vince
Regal, who launched himself into furious battle against the DoD, with
Rome at his side. Rome went on to embrace his new found status as "the
good guy," going so far as to throw candy and offer pizza to the fans
in exchange for their admiration and cheers.

Rome became the
UWA cruiserweight champion when he defeated The Amazing Green, but lost
that belt back to Green at Last Breath 2005.

PREVIEW: John "The Future" Rome Vs The Amazing Green Aggression 2005 Cruiserweight Title

Mentor vs Student Match: Cypress vs. Rick Bucks

Hello
all! John Evans here to preview a unique match that will take place at
UWA: Crossroads Destiny Fulfilled. In the first round of this 24 man
tournament, a student will try to take down the man who mentored and
trained him in the wrestling business, when Rick Bucks attempts to
prove himself against his mentor: the Man-Beast from Chicago himself,
the last ever UWA champion, Cypress. These two have a storied history
dating back to the days of the USW. Cypress was there to mentor Bucks
from the very beginning, and how fitting that is, because this show is
slated to be Rick Bucks' final performance in a wrestling ring. Truly,
should Bucks prevail, it would be the largest upset in UWA history.
However, the road to Glory is paved with the most daunting task a UWA
wrestler can face, in Cypress. The last ever UWA Champion is quite
possibly the most feared competitor to ever step foot in the UWA ring,
holding victories over practically every major name in the federation's
history. Will Bucks be able to climb the mountain so few have braved
before him? Or will he be just another victim of the Chicago street
thug?

Cypress
Hometown: Chicago Illinois
Finishing Maneuver: Cypress Hill, Court Killer, Do-Or-Die Driller
Career
Highlights: USW Heavyweight Champion (2x), USW Tag Team Champion (2x),
EWF Hardcore Champion, SWF Tag Team Chapion, UWA Heavyweight Champion
(3x) (Final), UWA Regional Champion (2x), UWA Tag Team Champion (2x),
2002 Brawl For All Winner, 2004 Brawl For All Winner. 2005 SuperBrawl
Winner, Founding member of the UWA

Profile: Cypress is the most
accomplished wrestler in the history of the United Wrestling Alliance.
Aside from being the last ever UWA Heavyweight Champion, he is also the
longest reigning champion, with a title reign spanning 10 months. The
Street Thug from Chicago had a humble beginning as a crooked referee
turned whitey rapper named Jigga Jimmy Michaels in the EWF. Michaels
came into his own and developed the persona of Cypress in the USW
promotion. After running roughshod on the competition in the USW,
Cypress became a founding member of the United Wrestling Alliance,
where he would go onto win two Brawl for Alls and main event two
Armageddons (Arm 3 against his brother Matt Mitchel, and Armageddon 4
against Big Dan Winant). Cypress is also the founder and leader of one
of the most destructive forces ever in backyard wrestling, in the
Do-Or-Die Posse. The DDP's most destructive and widely known run came
in 2003, when Cypress was the UWA Champion, leading a faction composed
of himself, Brian Brass, and Archadia, who was later kicked out for The
Outlaw Dave Wiant, who was later kicked out to make room for Big Dan
Winant.
The faction ran roughshod over any and all competition,
trouncing UWA wrestlers, including Matt Mitchel, AceJack, Dave Winant,
Big Dan, and Blade. Cypress even took it upon himself to "cut" several
wrestlers from the UWA that he did not feel were up to snuff. He dealt
crushing, career ending blows to Blade and Carnage, and nearly ended
the career of Dave Winant. Cypress' 10 month UWA Championship reign
would end when, in a 3 way dance, AceJack pinned Archadia to win
Cypress' UWA title.

Cypress became a fan favorite in the UWA
in 2004, after disbanding the DDP and being attacked by the newly
formed NBW. Cypress' new demeanor did not slow him down, as he
dominated the competition again with memorable feuds with UWA wrestlers
Archadia, Damage, and Scotty Deletto. Cypress was a participant in
every single WarGames match in the UWA. Cypress was also the runner up
in the 2005 Brawl for All and the winner of the 2005 SuperBrawl, which
secured him a spot in the main event of Last Breath 2005, where he
became the final UWA Champion.

Rich Bucks
Hometown: Miami Florida
Finishing Maneuver: Money Shot Splash
Career Highlights: UWA Cruiserweight Champion (3x)

Profile:
Rich Bucks is as wealthy as they come. Beginning his career humbly in
the USW promotion, Bucks eventually came to join the UWA ranks where he
competed in memorable matches with Amazing Green, Kris Kaos, Kyle
Smiley, and Sean Damage McNelis. Bucks captured the UWA cruiserweight
title on several occasions before a misbegotten and forgettable attempt
at starting a rock music career with Three Count Records. Bucks joined
the Do-Or-Die Posse in the group's final incarnation in 2004, where his
wealth financed the super group. He was brought into the DDP and
mentored by the man he will be facing at Crossroads Destiny Fulfilled,
Cypress.

100th Meltdown Rematch: Dr. John Bowes vs. The Scout Johnny Eagle
By John Evans

On
the 100th episode of UWA Meltdown, two men met in the live lottery
drawing, in which opponents are drawn at random. This competition saw
UWA veteran Dr. John Bowes take on newcomer The Scout Johnny Eagle.

The
match at first seemed to favor Scout, mostly because it seemed as if
the accomplished Bowes had no idea who this do-gooder newcomer even
was. However, in the end, the doctor outclassed this master of the
sharpshooter to pick up the win and move onto the battle royale later
in the show. Now, five years later, these two will meet again in the
first round of the UWA Crossroads: Destiny Fulfilled tournament and,
once again, it appears to be something of a mismatch.

Bowes has
gone onto backyard superstardom, building a name for himself on
supershows around the country, whereas Scout continued has seemingly
stepped out of the ring in favor of his favorite past times, earning
merit badges and watching bad Bret Hart tapes. Will Scout's mastery of
the five moves of doom be able to withstand the might and fury of the
monstrous Bowes? Or will the doctor leave the boy scout in traction.

Dr. John Bowes
Hometown: The Clark Medical Facilities in Clark NJ
Finishing Maneuver: Stretch Muffler, Stretch Muffler Driver, 450
Career Highlights: UWA Hardcore Champion (3x), UWA Regional Champion (2x), UCW Heavyweight Champion (First Ever)

Profile:
Dr. John Bowes came to the UWA as a part of the UCW invasion of 2002.
Bowes, the first ever UCW heavyweight champion, was assimilated into
the UWA fold in 2003, shortly after attending medical school and
earning his medical doctorate. The now Doctor John Bowes was the
frequent victim of some of the UWA's elite in the beginning of 2003,
but the hardcore round robin tournament to decide a new UWA Hardcore
Champion was the beginning of John Bowes' path to superstardom, his
theme song of Bad Medicine becoming a rallying anthem for the fans of
the UWA who cheerfully sung along to it upon his entrance.

Bowes
quickly became known as the hardcore icon of the UWA, winning the
tournament and the hardcore championship with notable victories over
J-Spyder (whom he tombstone pile drove through the tramp-o-ring) and
The Right Stuff Jerry Doring (in a match which saw the doctor hit in
the face with a cactus). Bowes carried the hardcore title into matches
against the likes of AceJack, Tek, and SEG ,before losing the title to
The Machine. Bowes would win the hardcore championship back from The
Anarchist, before being screwed out of it by Big Dan Winant. Bowes then
went on to score the largest upset of his career at that time, at Last
Breath 2003, when he pinned former UWA Champion Big Dan Winant to
regain his hardcore title.

The 2004 season saw a drastic change
in Bowes, where he turned on long time best friend and tag partner Tek,
adopting a sadistic and evil personality; seemingly delighting in the
torment and dissection of his smaller foe. In 2005, Bowes was elevated
up the ladder again, with notable matches against UWA Champion Archadia
and The Outlaw Dave Winant and a big victory over AceJack at Armageddon
6(66). Bowes entered into a bloody feud with Regional Champion Chris
Mavrick, which ended in a sickening Last Man Standing match, which saw
Bowes score the victory over Mavrick and regain his Regional title.

The Scout
Hometown: Oak Ridge, NJ
Finishing Maneuver: Sharpshooter
Career Highlights: Numerous Merit Badges

Profile:
Johnny Eagle is an eagle scout. He brings his do-gooder ways to the
UWA, in a noble effort to do what's right. Scout is the master of the 5
moves of doom, and even earned a merit badge for Russian Leg Sweeps. He
came to the UWA in 2005, where he was instantly bullied around by the
Council, consisting of Casey Quake Reynolds, The BMF, and Da Stiff
Squad. He found a friend and kindred spirit in Eddie Idol, as the two
took on the Council in a bunkhouse brawl. He was a participant in the
triple threat elimination match for the cruiserweight title at Last
Breath 2005 with Jon Rome and the Amazing Green; he was the first
eliminated.

Eur-Asian Title Tournament Finals Rematch: Archadia vs. Joey Hedges
By John Evans

It
seemed as if in 2005 that Joey Hedges was a shoe in to win the coveted
UWA Eur-Asian Championship. This lawn care specialist turned tag team
specialist was thwarted in his attempt at singles stardom when former
UWA Champion Archadia threw his name into the mix. Their match was a
fast paced contest, in which Hedges pulled out all the stops to defeat
Mr. Armageddon himself. However, the fairy tale ending was not to be,
as Archadia defeated Hedges to win the match, after which he discarded
the Eur-Asian title, having proven himself a grand slam champion in the
UWA.

Hedges has been stewing over this loss for the last five
years. The coveted championship that he so desired was casually tossed
aside by Archadia, and Hedges has not forgotten this slight. One would
assume that Hedges will arrive primed and ready for action, as this is
sure to be an emotionally charged contest. However, he has a daunting
task before him as he faces one of the most accomplished wrestlers in
the UWA in Archadia.

Archadia
Hometown: Raleigh North Carolina
Finishing Maneuver: Hand of God, Archadia Driver, Ouch That's Gotta Hurt, Ouch That's Gotta Driver
Career
Highlights: UWA Heavyweight Champion (2x), UWA Regional Champion (3x)
UWA Tag Team Champion, UWA Eur-Asian Champion, USW Heavyweight Title,
USW Tri-State Title, EWF Heavyweight Title, EWF Regional Title, EWF Tag
Team Title, EWF Hardcore Title, EWF Polish Title, 2001 Brawl For It All
Winner, 2003 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Winner.

Profile:
Archadia's list of accomplishments is larger than any other UWA
wrestler. A founding member of the UWA, Archadia made a name for
himself in the EWF, USW, and SWF promotions prior to UWA's creation.
The self proclaimed "Mr. Armageddon" has won a match at every single
Armageddon, since the show's inception in the EWF.

In the UWA's
early days, despite being heavyweight champion in 2002, Archadia mostly
followed others as a part of various stables, most notably the Do Or
Die Posse. However, when personal disagreements with DDP leader Cypress
abounded, Archadia was unceremoniously kicked out of the super group.
For the remainder of 2003, he carried out a crusade of vengeance
against the DDP, until he found one UWA rookie who he saw something in.

Tek
was seen by Archadia as having limitless potential. The young upstart
from Clark NJ was however a part of AceJack's Ultra Violent Movement.
Archadia tried to sway Tek from AceJack, ultimately succeeding at
Redemption 2003. Two months later however, Archadia would turn on Tek,
and later rejoin the Do Or Die Posse.

In 2004, Archadia had
memorable feuds with Vincent Valentean, Tek, Arkum, Dr. John Bowes, and
even a short (very short) feud with his old EWF nemesis Vengeance.
Archadia reached the top of the mountain once again at Last Breath
2004, when he vanquished champion Big Dan Winant to become the second
Undisputed Champion in UWA History.

In 2005, Archadia worked
tirelessly defending the championship against foes like John Bowes,
Dave Winant, Big Dan, Scotty Deletto, and Cypress, before beginning to
think of the belt as a curse. Archadia turned his back on the fans and
attacked number one contender and fan favorite Myke Quest. Quest would
however ultimately go onto defeat Archadia in a 60 minute Iron Man
Match, where he captured the UWA title.

Archadia's title hunt
was not done however. After becoming a grand slam champion by briefly
holding the Eur-Asian Championship, and ending the career of his
nemesis Brian Brass, Archadia set his sights on the UWA title again. At
Last Breath 2005, Archadia faced off against Cypress and champion Big
Dan Winant to decide the last ever UWA champion. Though Cypress
ultimately was declared the victor, there was no doubt in anyone's mind
that Archadia gave it his all in the ring that night.

Joey Hedges
Hometown: East Brunswick NJ
Finishing Maneuver: Burning Side Effect, Hedge Clipper
Career Highlights: UWA Tag Team Champion

Profile:
Lawn Care specialist turned wrestler Joey Hedges came to the UWA in
2004. Known for his trademark yell of "CAHHHMOHHHN!" Hedges was tasked
with the maintenance of the arena, as well as the in ring duties of an
active wrestler. After briefly achieving some success, winning the
number one contendership for the UWA Championship and ultimately losing
to champion Dave Winant, Hedges joined up with Mexican Wrestler Fire
Lyger, and the two formed the Tag Team known as Burning Bush.

Burning
Bush were the winners of the 2004 NJ Tag Team Combat Cup, where they
were finally paid for their work as lawn care specialists. They also
reigned atop the UWA as tag team champions for some time. However, when
the diabolical Outlaw Dave Winant ended the career of Fire Lyger,
Hedges stepped up to the plate to gain revenge for his best friend.
Hedges launched a brutal assault on The Outlaw but was continuously
punished for his actions by the self proclaimed god time and time
again. Then, Hedges scored the biggest win of his career, defeating
Dave Winant in a chain match at Setting the Standard 2005.

Eventually,
fully healed from his injuries, Fire Lyger returned to the UWA and
reformed Burning Bush with Hedges once again. Together they faced off
against the team of Pozitively Real in a UWA tag team fans' dream
match. Hedges looks to prove to one and all that he is a true singles
wrestling star at UWA Crossroads: Destiny Fulfilled.

Brawl For All 2005 rematch Kyle Winant v. Kris Kaos
By John Evans

In
2005, Kyle Winant was on top of the cruiserweight world in the UWA.
Since winning the title from Rich Bucks on a Meltdown in 2004, Kyle had
run roughshod over the cruiserweight challengers in the UWA. The
beginning of 2005 saw Kyle challenged by former UWA Cruiserweight
Champion Kris Kaos at the 05 season's first supercard, Brawl For All.

The
battle was fierce between these two, but ultimately Kyle Winant picked
up the win. However, Kyle would not walk out of Brawl For All with his
coveted championship. Paul Regal, of the Regal family, arrived on the
scene with an order from then UWA Commissioner Punch Swan, that Kyle be
weighed, to prove what Punch suspected; that Kyle was over the
cruiserweight limit.

Regal's weigh in did in fact prove Punch's
suspicions, weighing Kyle in at 270 lbs. Far over the limit of a
cruiserweight. Since that day, Kyle went onto become the fastest rising
star in the UWA, holding several huge victories against the UWA elite.
Kyle will be looking to erase this day from everyone's memory. But Kaos
is not one to be taken lightly. Since UWA has closed Kaos has made a
killing on the backyard scene, and Kyle had better not underestimate
this foe.

Kris Kaos
Hometown: International House of Pancakes
Finishing Maneuver: Kaos Effect
Career Highlights: UWA Tag Team Champion, UWA Cruiserweight Champion

Profile:
Kris Kaos came to the UWA in 2004 as an attache of Vince Regal. As a
part of the Natural Born Wrestlers, Kaos quickly won the UWA
cruiserweight title. He held this title until losing it later that year
to Rich Bucks. He became a fan favorite after Regal turned on him in
late 04, however a failed attempt at courting Tara Valifax caused Kaos
to suffer a severe mental breakdown.

His fragile mental state
was easy prey for Vincent Valentean, who recruited him to the Disciples
of Darkness in 2005. Kaos teamed up with Tek for form the New Reality
v. 2. Together Tek and Kaos went onto hold victories over Kyle Winant,
Big Dan Winant, Archadia, Brian Brass, Myke Quest, AceJack, Arkum
Damage, J-Spyder, and Cypress.

Kyle Winant
Profile: Kyle Winant first came to the UWA as Kyle
Poundcake Smiley, a fun loving kid from Smileyville USA. Kyle achieved
success while teaming with the Machine, when the duo captured the Tag
Team Titles, only to lose them to Burning Bush, as a result of Kyle's
affinity for ice cream.

Soon after this loss, Kyle was
revealed to be the third Winant brother, as unveiled by Big Dan Winant.
Kyle became Dan's protege, admiring his older brother and taking after
the then UWA Undisputed Heavyweight Champion. In 2005, the duo captured
the UWA Tag Team Championships, before dropping them to Tek and Kris
Kaos. After this loss, Kyle promptly turned on his brother Dan,
choosing to follow the example of his other brother, The Outlaw Dave
Winant.

Kyle became a disciple of the Outlaw, who believed
himself to be a god. Then, when the three Winants met in a triple
threat match, it was inevitable Kyle who picked up the win, turning on
Dave and leaving both of his brothers in a heap. Kyle went onto hold
notable victories over Big Dan Winant, Cypress, and Dave Winant, even
scoring a pinfall that would win him the UWA Championship, before the
decision was overturned.

NBW Era Rematch: Myke Quest vs. Scotty Deleto.
By John Evans

When
Vince Regal started the NBW, Scotty Deleto was one of the boss' first
targets. To this end, Regal recruited submission expert Myke Quest to
the team. Quest met Scotty numerous times. Each scuffle would see a
different winner. Scotty eventually defeated Myke Quest for the vacant
UWA Eur-Asian championship. This is a true rubber match between the
two.

However, both Scotty and Quest went through many changes
throughout UWA. Scotty, once a fan favorite, came to be loathed by the
fans, who saw his treacherous ways, as he betrayed seemingly every
friend he ever had. Quest went onto superstardom, becoming a fan
favorite and capturing the UWA Undisputed Heavyweight Championship.

Finishing Maneuver: Texas Cloverleaf, Cobra Clutch Crossface
Career Highlights: UWA Undisputed Heavyweight Champion, UWA Eur-Asian Champion (2x), 2005 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament Winner

Questicles

Profile:
Myke
Quest entered the UWA as a part of Vince Regal's new talent initiative
to build his Natural Born Wrestlers supergroup. Quest was, in every
way, a natural born wrestler. The technical wizard and submission
expert made quite a splash in the UWA at his first appearance, in which
he laid out Scotty Deleto and Dr. John Bowes. Quest would go onto have
memorable matches with The Outlaw Dave Winant, Eddie Idol, and Chris
Redfield.

When the NBW disbanded, the fans turned in Quest's
favor, showering him with praise and adulation. Quest's success in 2004
culminated with him winning the UWA Eur-Asian Championship from
J-Spyder. Quest held the Eur-Asian through to the 2005 season, where he
defended it against Brian Brass in a best of 5 series.

Quest
was the winner of the 2005 Owen Hart Memorial tournament, where he went
through Brian Brass, Vincent Valentean, Dave Winant, and Arkum to win
the tournament and a heavyweight title shot against then champion
Archadia. Quest and Archadia battled in a 60 minute iron man match,
where Quest scored an overtime victory to become heavyweight champion.
He would then forfeit the Eur-Asian Title and go onto defend the top
prize in the UWA.

After Quest lost the UWA championship, he
set his sights back on what he felt was rightfully his, the Eur-Asian
title. He faced off in an instant classic at Last Breath 2005 with then
champion Jay Lethal. Quest scored the biggest win of his career,
pinning Lethal and ending his UWA career as the final Eur-Asian
Champion.

Scotty "The Body" Deleto
Hometown: Dallas Texas
Finishing Maneuver: Scotty Bomb, Scotty Bomb v. 2
Career Highlights: UWA Tag Team Champion, UWA Regional Champion, UWA Eur-Asian Champion (2x)

Profile:
Scotty Deleto began his career alongside Donnie Sexton as THE EMPIRE,
and together they achieved tag team gold. However, soon after, the team
split up, and Scotty began a singles career. He had many matches with
the UWA elite, his match at Last Breath 2001 with Peter Page was
believed by many to be a match of the year candidate.

In 2003
Scotty won singles gold as the Eur-Asian Champion, until he lost that
belt and was subsequently injured at Armageddon IV by The Outlaw Dave
Winant. Scotty scored a huge upset when he defeated Archadia in 2004
for the Regional title. Scotty wasn't done yet though, as he was
officially put on the UWA map when he came within a hair of beating Big
Dan Winant for the UWA Championship.

In late 2004, Scotty
turned his back on the fans, betraying his team in the UWA War Games
match, allowing Vince Regal's team to achieve victory. To this end,
Scotty earned the wrath of Cypress. Cypress and Scotty would continue a
war to settle the score for the remainder of the 2004 season which
lasted halfway through the 2005 season.

Eventually, Scotty made
an enemy of his friend and mentor Matt Mitchell, and the two launched
into a bitter feud that would end with Mitchell ultimately vanquishing
his protégé at Last Breath 2005. After this match, it seemed as if
Scotty and Mitchell rekindled their friendship, but at the 2007 reunion
show, Scotty turned on Mitchell again, proving that his treacherous
nature knows no bounds.

Regional Rematch: Sean Damage McNelis v. Chris Mavrick

By John Evans

When
Sean Damage McNelis suffered a serious injury to his arm, he was forced
to forfeit his prized possession, the UWA Regional Title. The new
champion was decided in a battle royale, in which Chris Mavrick of the
DoD last eliminated Dr. John Bowes to win the vacated championship.

So
it became a point of contention between the two, once Damage returned,
that Mavrick was holding what was, in the mind of Damage and the fans,
Damage's Regional championship. The two met on Meltdown to settle the
score once and for all. Damage had recently won the number one
contendorship for the UWA Undisputed Championship, and Mavrick felt
that spot was reserved for the regional champion.

Now, five
years later, Damage and Mavrick will clash again in the first round of
the tournament. Both bring distinct styles to the table.Mavrick is
known for his striking and is widely feared as having the most painful
head-but in the wrestling world. Damage, despite his small size, is a
noted power wrestler, best known for delivering his Collateral Damage
finishing maneuver to Big Dan Winant at the 2007 UWA reunion show. When
striking meets strength, there is sure to be explosive results.

Sean "Damage" Mcnelis
Hometown: Garwood NJ
Finishing Maneuver: Collateral Damage
Career
Highlights: UWA Regional Champion (2x) (Last Ever), UWA Hardcore
Champion, UCW Heavyweight Champion (4x), UCW Tri State Champion (Last
Ever), UCW Ladder Match Champion, UCW Tag Team Champion, 2005 Live
Lottery Winner

Profile: Sean Damage McNelis came to the UWA as a
part of an invasion from the UCW promotion. In 2003, when former UCW
owner and newly named UWA Commissioner Vincent Valentean signed the UCW
wrestlers to UWA contracts, he left out his old enemy Sean McNelis,
whom he publicly fired in the opening moments of 2003.

Damage
was however granted his UWA contract by Vince Regal and proceeded to
strike back at the crooked commissioner. Eventually though, Valentean
drove Damage out of the UWA, and he wasn't seen for months. Then, in
late 2003, Damage returned to the UWA to assist Valentean's alter ego
Angellus with the Ultra Violent Movement, led by AceJack. Damage went
onto have memorable matches with Tek, Arkum, Angellus and Eddie Idol
before the 2003 season ended.

Damage returned in 2004, and
promptly turned on then best friend Vincent Valentean to join Vince
Regal's incarnation of the Natural Born Wrestlers. Damage was also
granted the reinstated UCW championship, which he defended against
Valentean several times before losing it at Hotter Than Hell 2004.

After
the NBW disbanded, Damage went onto win the Regional championship from
G-Poz at Last Breath 2004. Damage started out 2005 with his regional
title intact. He defended it successfully against the likes of Joey
Hedges, Vincent Valentean, and Tara Valifax. Eventually, Damage
suffered a serious injury to his arm outside the ring, and was forced
into retirement, and subsequently do the hardest thing he had ever done
and forfeit the regional title.

Damage's recovery went better
than expected, and he returned to the UWA at the 100th episode of
Meltdown, and winning the live lottery, last eliminating Archadia, to
become the number one contender to the UWA Undisputed title. Damage
faced off with Myke Quest at the 2005 Hotter Than Hell event, but fell
short of his goal in the end.

Damage then decided he needed to
end the UWA with what he felt was rightfully his, and he challenged
John Bowes, the man he wrestled his first ever match against, to a
match at Last Breath 2005 for the UWA Regional Title. Ultimately Damage
overcame his larger foe and became the last ever UWA Regional Champion.

Chris Mavrick
Hometown: Hell Michigan
Finishing Maneuver: Precision Piledriver, Mandible Claw
Career Highlights: UWA Regional Champion, UWA Tag Team Champion (Last Ever)

Profile:
Chris Mavrick wrestled his first match at UWA Last Breath 2003 against
his best friend J-Spyder. When the 2004 season began, Mavrick and
Spyder teamed up to form the tag team High and Mighty. Together they
faced off against Pozitively Real, Da Stiff Squad, and Machine and Kyle
Smiley, among others.

When the two parted ways, Mavrick was
bludgeoned on the head with a steel chair by former UWA Champion
AceJack several times, suffering amnesia and believing himself to be a
super hero named the Tornado. Mavrick would protect the innocent as the
Tornado for months, but then when faced with J-Spyder at Hotter Than
Hell, remembered who he was, throwing down his mask and declaring that
Chris Mavrick was back to "own you all."

Mavrick developed a
much darker persona, launching a massive offensive at the man who had
bludgeoned him into superheroism, AceJack. Mavrick assaulted AceJack
with everything from football helmets to roman candles before the two
faced off at Last Breath 2004. Mavrick scored the biggest upset of his
career that day when he defeated AceJack after a vicious lariat to the
face.

In 2005, Mavrick shifted his attention to Vincent
Valentean, whom he believed he could drive back into his dark roots.
Mavrick succeeded in driving Valentean insane, and allowed darkness to
consume the former fan favorite once again. After Valentean embraced
darkness again, taking Mavrick as his apprentice in the Disciples of
Darkness.

Under Valentean's tutelage, Mavrick excelled in
singles competition, capturing the UWA Regional Championship. However,
after being defeated by Bowes in a vicious Last Man Standing Match,
Mavrick turned from the DoD, declaring his apprenticeship to Valentean
over. After scoring a big win in singles competition against Valentean,
Mavrick was assaulted continuously by DoD members Tek and Kris Kaos.

Eventually,
Mavrick rejoined with J-Spyder to form High and Mightly once again, and
the duo defeated Tek and Kaos to become the last ever UWA Tag Team
Champions.
