Hey Rad, NTDW is hosting a hopefully mutli-fed hardcore/ pseudo deathmatch tournament in October, so I was just wondering if you could reserve a belt of our tournament. Its going to have at least 8 contestants if not more. And I am committed to this happening if you're affraid that it won't happen.

Problem is, 99% of backyard "hardcore" is not good hardcore wrestling. It's stupid kids doing stupid shit in their backyard they call hardcore wrestling. Anybody who is good does not give a shit, or need to give a shit, about winning an award on BWW. All this is going to do is cause a ton of kids who want to impress someone hit each other with chairs. Or god forbid they actually try doing the real thing, because they'll probably end up severely injured, because they have no idea what they're doing.

Let hardcore be hardcore, imo.

I know exactly what you're saying and this isn't really for everyone. I'm not looking for people to go out and do stupid stuff, I'm looking to the guys who already do it, whom, no matter what anyone says, will continue to bash each others brains out. We might as well give them a title for it. It's one of those things that I personally am not super excited for but I do expect some fun stuff from those who already do this style, and I REALLY tried to emphasize that creativity and quality will override anything, so we will just have to see if it will just be a bunch of kids blading each other the hard way or if it will be somewhat safe and creative in their weapon use. I still believe it doesn't take a bloodbath or a weapon-fest to be hardcore. My favorite "hardcore" style matches used very few weapons, but used what little weapons they had in an extremely unique and effective way that gave the match an element it would not have had under standard rules, and yet was well executed and ...ready for it...safe. So we shall see what happens, but Dylan you are right about letting hardcore be hardcore, and this invitational is just for them.

Thing is BYW will never be accepted by pro wrestling the same way WWE will never be accepted by Hollywood. You might as well do whatever you want. BYW is an internet/forum thing and will always stay as that. I dont think hardcore is different than any other style. Bad normal byw matches on trampolines get just as much shit as a hardcore match. I'm confident with my SOS stuff this year for me to not be embarsssed so if others look like fools i dont care.

^ This. Sorry Mike i wasnt trying to shit on your fed cuz i have watched alot of media from HBB and everytime i saw it it was just the same guys hitting each other with lightubes and chairs and shit. It would just make me laugh that the certaint individuals in this fed would call EWA out on being shitty wrestling when ive yet to see them in a match without hitting someone with something

This Hardcore challenge needs an extention to July 30. I think that's a more befitting date to end it. It covers more of the summer so entries can be recorded and submitted.
