| Right now there is the tips on Wrestling Psychology but i wondered if you guys had tips on being a manager, you see cutting it out to be a manager is actually a difficult process as you have to have great mic work along with other skills such as being able to sell your wrestler or yourself as a heel/face... so does anyone have any tips? |

| Be a woman and wear slutty clothes.
Seriously, one important thing that a lot of managers do horribly at is being involved in your wrestler's match. I hate managers who just stand around watching the whole time. Distract the referee, try to get the fans behind or against your guy. Otherwise you're just taking up space at ring side. |

| Being a manager? Why would u want to do that?
I'm just playing.
I think a key manager gimmick is to actually wrestle a match for his/her wrestler, as a heel it can make u look bad if as a face if you pull off the upset its great.
Definitely being more involved with promos and at ringside are huge.
Final advice, don't be afraid to have a persona of your own, you are not a clone of your wrestler you are meant to elevate them to a higher level, having a persona that has good chemistry with your wrestler is vital and can really turn an extra body into the heart of a team. |

| always put over your wrestler, and yourself. no matter how ugly, fat, disgusting, or whatever else you are. if you're a heel manager that is. drive the crowd insane. make them feel like crap, cheat, applaud your wrestler for every little thing he does.
it worked in my indy experience haha, so hopefully it helps. |

| If your wrestler is on the offensive, do NOT be going nuts on the outside because then you're taking attention away from him. However, if your wrestler's on defense, go nuts. |

| If a heel manager, get ejected from ringside every now and then. and while you have the ref busy ejecting you have your wrestler cheat. |

| I forgot how to manage as a face, so here's my heel rundown.
1. Wear something that stands out. 2. Run your mouth. A lot. 3. Get beat up every now and then by the face of the match. It'll draw heat, especially if it's really rare. 4. Lots of referee distraction, but only when logical. Argue with the ref a lot. 5. Stay more relaxed when your dude is on the offense. Laid back means you KNOW he's going to win. 6. When the face has the heat, flip out. Yell, scream, say ridiculous things, and make threats you can't back up (like saying you'll kick the ref's ass after the match). 7. Also when the face has the heat, make false accusations about the face cheating, pulling hair, having closed fists, and fast ref counts 8. Have fun. |

9. Don't get drunk and fuck up your interference 10. Don't interrupt the face trying to make a promo, it makes you look like a fag.

| ALWAYS interrupt the face and ALWAYS be drunk. Those are key elements Don, what are you thinking!? Being drunk and blowing spots gets you good heat. |
