| I hate to break it to you die hard pro wrestling fans (not really) but pro wrestling is totally staged. The main focus of pro wrestling is to make money and entertain while other types of wrestling focuses on the athletic competition between the two competitors. Being a former wrestler in high school, I think it's a depressing to see these "professional wrestlers" put such a horrible face to a noble sport. They aren't "professional" and they certainly aren't "wrestlers". They are a bunch of idiots that put on some redneck soap opera for the entertainment of people who have no respect for the real sport of wrestling.

| I love how these people who have no idea about this business, about this lifestyle, about this SPORT (suck my dick, dude) say things like this and feel so proud of themselves because they broke the news and now we all have to find something else to do with our time. And plus this dude just registered on here today. These people are worse than Luke Lectric and company. _____________________ | tonyficaccio wrote: | not badass is ao and bushleauge. |

| I don't see how the redneck stereotype still lives. WWE, probably most non-wrestling fan's source for judging professional wrestling, is all about looking shiny and polished and has plenty of good wrestlers that aren't just dumb brawler fucks. Even John Cena is capable of some basic wrestling, even if it's usually botchy. Maybe they're getting it from crappy indy feds, but who the hell watches those?
Oh well. Refer to the above responses. |

Well if high school wrestling could actually sell out or pack in an arena, it'd certainly be more legit, wouldn't it? I mean that's why there's MMA, a good chance to view some sex positions (no pun intended), and you talk about putting such a horrible face to a noble sport. Plain and simply, the athletic competition is exactly what makes pro wrestling a sport in my eyes. _____________________ The Backyard Wrestling Station

| "Pro backyard wrestlers." Now that's a term that doesn't make sense.
Pro wrestling is as much a sport as cheerleading, ballroom dance, and figure skating. Requires a great deal of physical effort but in the end is a staged event meant to entertain. |
